    Quick follow up. I just got out of a small server in Death Match and it was a blast. Even saw SillyHalfMexican there (though he didn't recognize me when I said "hi"). It was a ball. Even more fun when another FWF'er joined in another 8 man DM server. When TDM arrives I think the servers will be full. Again, I got my money's worth.

    I agree small Dm servers can be a blast but I like Bug Maps that aren't cramped.

    A month and a half isn't enough time yet to abandon ship.

    think of it this way the ship Of GRAW is hit by an Ubi Torpedo and is flaming and is in danger of sinking but the sailors as a duty and love for the ship or franchise will stay aboard and see if they can stop the sinking or get a Patched rescue boat. There are some inventive modders on the job to stop the sinking. the Grinning captain of the ship is doing his best and will stay on board long after everyone else has jumped ship. This ship might sink but god darnit the sailors will have hope and will stick through it because the torpedo has JUST hit. think of it as 6 weeks equivalent to six minutes. But there are a few sailors like Ubersoldiersailor who aren't tough enough and want to dicth the ship. These type of sailors are not blamed for there opinnoins that the USS GRAW might as well just sink but the others look down upon it. A small gruop of hopeful sailors called the Gr Community is the most hopeful and also will stay aboard due to faith in the captain and how the GRAW's Predessecor USS [GR] have provd to be great. With all probability the ship can be fixed and the patched rescue boat can save those who junped over. And they all lived happily ever after. NOW GOODNIGHT ya whining baby.

    I used to play BF2 and I guess you could say that I would Run and Gun and now I play GRAW. I can tell you that the same tactic if runninf and gunning sucks. I find it difficult to make kills and since I;ve played BF2 i want to always be in the thick of the action which is scarce on a Dom map.

    But there is tension in GRAW for me at least that tension is Running halfway across the map and starrting to fight only to die and have to run again. That running is what keeps me on my toes.

    This Game takes some getting used to because of its tactical slowness. It also depends on the background of the gamer who plays this game. But as for me I will play this until Armed Assault come out then play this game a little less often like i do with BF2

    I know this has been stated before but why are there so few players. I mean really a new patch has just been released with a new gametype but no one DM server is full not even Dom servers. I understand that some people are shelfing this game until everything is fixed but for me I play this game everyday along with Hitman Blood Money, BF2, CoD2(rarely), Oblivion, and Far Cry. But I always come back to GRAW only to find no players. I am disapointed but maybe thats just me Wheres the love yall.

    There never has been many players. None of the pathes we have gotten have caused any increase whatsoever in the amount of players playing GR:AW. It was under 100avg players when the game came out and its still under 100avg players after the patches. GR1 has more players in it right now.

    Those are sad facts. Sad but true. Bo's team could not have messed up more on the tvt MP and the lack of online MP gamers proves it beyond a reasonable doubt...you can't get around that one WK77, no matter how much you like Bo, no matter what a great guy he may be, a MP game designer he is not! :support:

    Os bBo the Grin leader or what can someone tell me who Bo is.

    If no one noticed heres something dumb. At approximately 11:20 EST I sucessfully was the last person to post on all the new topics( Under view new posts tab). Pretty cool right probably not.

    Admins if this is breaking the rules then please tell me again so I don't do it again.

    Does the new patch allow me to have a dedicated server running the game during lan ops? Also can I now play with buddies over the net via IP...or is it still just a gamespy deal?

    No ip support as of now... still gamespy.

    SO what was the thinking behind this? I only play a handful of games....is this the way most new games are being setup.....Its new to me...and I dont care for it myself.
