  1. Ds, once installed, is actually an add on mod, not a seperate game. It shows up in your mod folder as MP1, and must be activated to play. It's also the same with Island Thunder. It shows up as MP2 in your mods folder.
  2. The M16A2 is also full Auto, with a selector switch for Full Auto, 3 rd. Burst, and Single Shot.
  3. Well, let's see... In Viet Nam..... M1 Garand, 30-06 caliber M1 Carbine 30 caliber, ballistically comparable to the 45 long colt Thompson 45 carbine M14, otherwise known as the M14 in 308 caliber Ithaca 12 Gauge Shotgun, I forget the Model M16, in 223 Caliber M16 Tactical Carbine in 223 caliber M60 Machine Gun in 308 M2 Machine gun, in 50 caliber Colt .45 Single Action Auto Pistol And there were also a host of different SMG's such as the "Grease Gun". There was also the M40 Sniper System, a Remington 700 BDL Heavy Barreled .308, mounted with the Unertl 10X Sniper Scope And th
  4. That They Might Live If brothers lost brothers in brutal, hot battle, exchanging a lifetime for mine, If bodies were battered, and tortured and shattered defending our blessed design, Then what would it be-- what peril, what price shall I be excused to withhold? And how shall I gather the courage to follow an order to fight, if Im told? If thousands of soldiers could tender their bodies in trade for a future for me, If mothers so ached at the loss of their sons, so mine could be sheltered and free, Then who would it be-- which daughter, which son would I then be willing t
  5. THE NEXT GENERATION Each war has produced its Veterans, And we’ve had names for them, one and all. We remember them with endearing terms, Brave souls sent forth to fight... to fall. First came the intrepid Minuteman, So long ago.... but we recall him still. Outnumbered, tired, his munitions gone; Yet he turned the tide at Bunker Hill. A Rough Rider charged up San Juan Hill; When asked, he said: “Sir, I will go”, And a Volunteer was the last to die, At that fabled Fort we call The Alamo. The Doughboy served with the AEF, In the trenches damp and cold. He was sent to figh
  6. A HUMAN RACE Many a man has risked his life, To end the beginning of toil and strife. For in our world of fear and doubt, We ask ourselves why and what it's all about. It seems each generation has to face a war Of senseless killings for reasons we're not sure. But it's our minds that are captured, Like a helpless slave in this land of the free and the home of the brave. And it's our hearts that are heavy With pounding of sorrow while our souls are searching for a better tomorrow. But the Truth still remains that this country's people Have fought and died for an "American
  7. TO MY GULF SOLDIER FRIEND When you go to war to protect mankind You leave your family and friends behind While you're there, you get no leave When we know They've got something up their sleeve You do your best and then come home Thinking of your friends you left behind You've asked yourself what you have done When that friend of yours had to use his gun All you wanted to do was run. You stood your ground whatever it may be When I was over you shouted with glee Now you're home on American soil You believe in your heart nothing was spoiled The Welcome Homes, Thank You's, P
  8. Who said that the guy who posted that website has it right? IMO, just because it is on a website, doesnt make it right. I was taught that what bk posted is correct. Is there a place that verifies it one way or the other besides a webpage?
  9. I found this one on a site, and wanted all the anti war protesters to take a look at it. Take the bully by the balls I wish we didn't have to go I know, blah blah peace Blah blah war doesn't solve anything. I wish we didn't have to go. But you know? When the bully kicks sand in your face, Do you beg for peace? When his friends gang up And kill your friends, Do you stop and say "hey, wait Let's talk this out"? When he pays someone to burn your house To knock down your castles While he kills his own puppies Do you ask for a truce? I wish we didn't have to g
  10. Thirty six thousand soldiers, Line the desert and they wait, Thirty six thousand mothers sons, On standby in Kuwait, And each of them are hero’s, Each has answered to the call, Though many here still wonder, Should they be out there at all, Thirty six thousand British troops, All standing at the fore, Thirty six thousand British troops, Stand on the brink of war, With ships and tanks and aeroplanes, And thirty six thousand men, We’ve played this scene so often, Now we’re playing it again, Though every heart is lion brave, Yet every soldier’s scared,
  11. FREEDOM IS NOT FREE I watched the flag pass by one day. It fluttered in the breeze. A young Marine saluted it, and then He stood at ease. I looked at him in uniform So young, so tall, so proud, With hair cut square and eyes alert, He'd stand out in any crowd. I thought how many men like him Had fallen through the years. How many died on foreign soil? How many mothers' tears? How many pilots' planes shot down? How many died at sea? How many foxholes were soldiers' graves? No, freedom is not free. I heard the sound of "Taps" one night, When everything was still. I
  12. Final Inspection The soldier stood and faced God Which must always come to pass He hoped his shoes were shining Just as brightly as his brass "Step forward now, you soldier, How shall I deal with you? Have you always turned the other cheek? To My Church have you been true?" The soldier squared his shoulders Said, "No, Lord, I guess I ain't Because those of us who carry guns Can't always be a saint. I've had to work most Sundays And at times my talk was tough. And sometimes I've been violent, Because the world is awfully rough. But, I never took a penny That wasn't
  13. Here is my contribution. Although it is about 8 months too early, it is still relevant, and sadly, very true in alot of cases. Good morning everyone, > > A little early for Christmas messages but this is very nice. I > thought you might like to start the day on a nice note. > > . > > TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS, HE LIVED ALL ALONE, > > IN A ONE BEDROOM HOUSE MADE OF PLASTER AND STONE. > > > > I HAD COME DOWN THE CHIMNEY WITH PRESENTS TO GIVE, > > AND TO SEE JUST WHO IN THIS HOME DID LIVE. &
  14. WK, I even doubt that. Especially depending on the caliber of the rifle. If it was a russian 7.62X39, no way, depending on chopper altitude. The balistics and 'stopping power' of the round are little better than that of a 30-30, and are only really potent to about 300 yards, and the Apache is armored to boot. Na. I think the whole thing was an Al Jazeera fraud story.
  15. Nothing needs to be said, although it would be nice for them to hear a simple thank you, with a smile. Just NEVER, NEVER forget the price that they payed and are paying for our freedom and our safety, and never take it for granted. It can disappear alot more easily than it was won.
  16. Good luck to you budgie. Watch your ass, huh? Be a shame to see one of my favorite antagonists(lol) get sick. Stay safe and hurry back, eh? Looking forward to it.
  17. Cool ! ! Ruin, Warhawk, thanks for the fresh topics. Alright budgie. Time for us to get busy here. Seriously, cool guys. something new to talk about. Good job fellas. I am working on posts' as we speak ! !

  19. Absolutely keep it up Budgie! It has been a good thread so far. I would just like to see some new arguments, or if you rather, POINTS to talk about, that's all. And I meant what I said, buddy. I was in absolutely no way attacking you personally. I just dont agree with your arguments, that's all. I hope ya had a great trip. Let me know when you're back.
  20. cool pics, bro. Where'd ya find 'em at? if ya dont mind my askin.
  21. Hey Moakes. Ruggbutt has it nailed on the advice for ya. Although Im a righty, alot of my friends and people I shoot with are southpaws. The only time I ever used the forward assist was on one of Colt's HBAR Match rifles. They have a feeding problem sometimes due to the way they are shimmed, but never had to on a stock 16. The odd round is probably due to a weakened mag spring, which you can replace at any gunshow, and most quality gun shops. Also, this seems to be a more common problem with the 30 rounders, because of the curve of the mag, a weak spring will bind up the follower.
  22. Here's a mind bender for ya. If we dont trust the media, how will we see?
