Will only be worth it if they modded the games to work under XP.

Back to the prediction for the demo release: JULY.

NP. And when you're ready to start that build, look me up. I'm more than happy to help.

Well, if they were hacked or crashed, that is the fastest recovery I have ever seen. Good Job, Google ! !

Cool ! ! "The Dress up in guady country western clothes while an iguana chases your head through a hole Show ! !" Man. The Japanese have way too much time on their hands. ROFL ! !

BTW, your post says you have 256 in slots 1&3 and 512 in 2. Since slots 1&2 are on the one channel and slot 3 is on another, you should have 256 in 1&2 and 512 in 3 so that you have 512 on each channel, which, btw, is exactly what CPU-Z says you have. I'm guessing in your post you mispoke. Nice call, bro. I learned something today. --Logos ← You're right, I did mis-speak. I verified the slot numbers, and I misread them.

Where can I get the CPU-Z application you used for those screen shots? ← The link in post #14. The first link in his post.

Heh ! !

Here is my info from CPU-Z. As you can see, 3 slots, Dual-Channel mode.

How do I determine Dual Channel Mode? ← Check youre motherboards manual, find the page about populating all DIMMS. Do a google search. Maybe i'm wrong but i'm sure a motherboard with only three DIMMS (memory slots) is single channel only? but according to this it's not, lol. Easy way to find out if it's single or double channel mode is using this tool, CPU-Z it's free and informative. http://www.cpuid.org/cpuz.php You can use three modules in Dual Channel Mode, by filling the third unoccupied slot. With three sticks, slots 1 remains as channel 0 while slot 2&3 become channel 1. To

Same here. It's a common thing. Your bank will never ask for your account number, social security number, or any other personal info online. Neither will E-Bay. E-Bay, online stores, and banks will never ask for personal info by email. Banks won't ask you to click a link in emails. The only thing you should get from online stores, including E-Bay are purchase notifications. The rest are scams, don't reply to them, or click on them. Delete them.

It turns out that Hendrix did time in the Army, but for him, that's just wqhat it was: a sentenence. Read about it here. A little off-topic, but then again, a little NOT off-topic.

Computers and computer parts are like cars and any other electronics, bro. They are obsolete as soon as you walk out of the store with them, by retail and industry definition. But if you use the common sense and logical definition of obsolete, this is not the case at all. That definition is: If the part or machine you bought does what you want and need it to do, it isn't obsolete. I have an 8 year old PC here that I still use. It does what I need it to, and what I want it to, therefore it isn't obsolete. And just to clear something up, some of the FX55's are still running fast

It doesn't matter. Even if you are running dual-channel, if you have only three memory slots, and you populate all three, you won't be running dual channel anymore. What's your motherboard, btw? --Logos ← Actually, that isn't the case. I have 3 slots, with a 512 in slot 1 and 3 and 1GB in slot 2, and my mobo is running it in dual channel mode at 400Mhz, at least according to the memory clock and the BIOS. The 2 designated dual channel slots must be running the same size and speed DIMM's. The Third slot runs at the speed of the other two.

GRAW 360 date moved up...PC version left behind?

Sad but true. Ubi Modus Operendi. But I also hope that this isn't the case. But unfortunely, given previous events, it's hard to forget what they did to us with GR2 when it was supposedly close to coming out. -
I'll have to double check, but I thought I read somewhere that Hendrix served in the Army. I may be wrong though. In any case, I don't care if he was a dumb######. So was Jim Morrison. But man, could they belt out the music ! !

If the computer is a Sony, and checking with Sony netted you negative results, don't even try it. Like I said, if it was upgradeable, they would tell you it was, more often than not. It would even say it was in the book that came with it. If you want to upgrade, get yourself a mobo, CPU, RAM, GPU, and a good case, and re-use your drives from the Sony. Or better yet, build yourself another PC and use the Sony as a file server or something. But Sony really has no reason to tell you it's not upgradeable if it is. They aren't primarily a PC maker, and that isn't where their money com

Nobody, but nobody, will ever be able to touch that song the way Hendrix did. The man was a Legend.

I don't think it's ever been a secret that the 360 version would be released first, due to marketing. After all, Ubi is primarily into consoles now, at least that's where they want their bread and butter to come from. That, and they probably have a deal with Microsoft to release the 360 version first. -

First, just because Asus says yes, doesn't make it so. Chances are, that is a proprietary motherboard with a proprietary BIOS specifically for Sony, so you need to check very carefully before spending money on pieces parts. Alot of board makers like Asus, MSI, Intel, Asrock, etc... make proprietary versions of common boards for manufacturers with locked BIOS'es that prevent upgrades. If Sony is telling you no, there is probably a very good reason for it. Manufaturers that sell upgradeable computers are usually proud of the fact, and won't hesitate to tell you that you can upgrade, and

Not a waste of time at all. Most of the time, it's the simplest basic things we forget, because we just assume it works. Anytime.
-
Then you will be stuck with an AGP 4X card, and the performance with the latest games will be mediocre at best.
-
With the boards themselves? Not a thing. The software and drivers? That's what S U C K S ! ! And if you run any other OS's besides Winblows, ATI compatability sucks also.

if you are running in Dual Channel mode, the two sticks that are the same size have to be in the slots specified in your manual, probably the two they are in now, in which case, just add the third one to the empty one. If you aren't running in dual channel mode, it doesn't matter.
