I am having alot of trouble with my direct x, and also windows xp as well as installing ghost recon.
Problem #1:
I install Ghost Recon and Desert Siege, then I try and install Island thunder and after 30 seconds of the installer doing nothing, it says its done. Then I run Ghost Recon and half the textures are missing, Island Thunder is not available in the mods list, and I can only play it once. After exiting the game and coming back later, I get an illegal operation Error.
Problem #2:
I called red storm and they said it was my direct x. I went into DxDiag and it said im running 8.1.
