Hi everyone, I'm new around here and here are my specs: CPU: Athlon 64 X2 4600+ Dual Core GPU: 7900 GTX 512MB DDR3 RAM: 2GB Corsair XMS DDR PC3200 SND: SBXFi (latest drivers) DRIVERS: 84.56 (www.guru3D.com) SETTINGS: Resolution: 1680x1050 (Widescreen) Texture Quality: HIGH Texture Filtering: AF8X Effects Quality: HIGH Dynamic Shadows: OFF Dynamic Lighting: ON Post Effects: HIGH EAX: ENABLED Audio Quality: Extreme TWEAKS: None yet PEAK FRAMES: ~53 AVG FRAMES: ~45-50 MIN FRAMES: ~27-32 ~SB -
goes to black screen, then crashes to desktop

I tried posting this last night, but I had to wait for the forum activation email. I had the exact same problem, in another thread here someone suggested updating the sound card drivers. I installed the latest sound drivers for my SBXFi card and viola, I was able to get past the black screen to the splash screens. Update all of your drivers and see if that works. SB
