  1. Does anyone have this keyboard.. if so.. do they have a profile for GRAW?

thinking of gettin one of these babies... can get one real cheap.. wanna know if it supports graw

I have one but i honestly havnt even tried to set up graw for it its a nice keyboard but im starting to notice the black comming off the keys.

I will see if i can set GRAW up on it tonight and post the Status

  2. Im Just Curious who does the ratings? Gamers or some guy in a suit? Kinda amazes me that this game went gold befor release and it hasnt even been finished i mean i like the game and all but there is so much missing and so much thats not complete for some one to give it a 9 in the state that the game is in tell me someone has no idea what they are talking about.

For the game play now im sure it will get better i give the game a 5/10.

The biggest thing that bugs me right now is that in the XBOX 360 version you can climb up small walls to go over and what not in this game you cant even walk up on a planter thats less then knee high..

Ive been Running 2 servers, Hoping for something to make this game get to at least a 9.

The Graphics are beautiful but the game play just needs a little work and more options in control settings would be nice also...

other then that im still playing and having fun..

  3. Ive notice the same thing although the game play is pretty smooth and no lag but i notice that the mouse movement is the whole problem its not very smooth i thought it was my FPS for a while untill i realized that it felt like my crooss hair was moving like it was attached to a sponge.

im Running An Intel 3.0 ghz dual Core with 2 gigs DDR2 ATI 1800 you may want to make sure nothing in your bios is turned on that dosnt need to be i had a problem with a few games spiking and it ended up being my onboard sound card was enabled in bios when im running an Audigy 2

    so that fixed my problem..

And what about a server monitor scritp to see by a web page if the server is online and who are playing? Anyone able to write that?

Lol your way in advance there JAck we still looking for admin tools...

  5. Anyone able to get the game to start in 2003 server..?

    Im running a Dual XEON

    2 GIG DDR

    Windows 2003 server

    dual Raptors Raid

    ATI 9700 Pro

    OC3 Connection.

Everytime i try to start the game i get a render error..

  6. Ok, for those who tried this and it didn't work.

This is how I got mine to work, finally...I just removed the profile.xml.bin file (deleted) and I was able to unlock all the missions.

I have a feeling that this is why other people trying this are having difficulty.

What are these bin files anyways??

The Bin Files are like a swap partition they hold information that is used while loading maps and missions and all that good stuff kinda helps with load times...

  7. I was just wondering if since we are now able to extract these files can we remove the the bundle file and maybe get faster load times im at work right now so im unable to try this but i wasnt sure if removing the bundle would cause an issue...

  8. Well this is what i found on this deal

    Instructions-

Editing the GRAW save profile causes a lot of crashes and problems that may not allow you to start the game up again.

Hence;the only way to use this mission unlocker is to replace the profile.xml file in your C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter\Settings\profiles\graw_profile_default\

directory to the one provided by me.

Also you will need to delete the other profile.xml file given(there are 2 .xml files) one will open in notepad and be ligible and the other will open in notepad but will not be fully legible. You can keep your existing .dsp(save game) files.

Another way to do it is to edit your existing profile.xml file to read as...

    <campaign_last_event value="7361766567616d65" />

    <campaign_progress value="21090307140200" />

But editing that without DELETING the other .xml file in your directory CRASHES the game;so be careful

If you use the file provided you will need to remap your controls again;your video and audio settings are NOT affected.

Remember to backup your save game DIRECTORY before you try this out.

-Running the game in compatibility mode of Windows 2000 solves a lot of crash issues

You can find it [Moderator Edit: Link removed IAW forum rule [3.7] Warez]

  9. Anyone know how to get there server to cycle maps? i have it checked and it doesn't work, after the last domination map the server crashes.

There is a map cycle entry in the xml in the server folder under settings, but it is blank. I tried setting it to a # and also to true but it still crashes just with a different error.

    Any fix?

ROCO that the same problem ive been having ive tried just adding map01,map02 and so on and that didnt work thats why my server has been down cause im not gonna drive to go restart it everytime im gonna ask a buddy of mine to rip open the bundle for me and im gonna replace the spinning globe with something else.. ill let you know what i figure out.

  10. How did get yours to run, cause i can get the game running on our server 800 x 600 window but the curser doesn't move when i try to click on MP. I am using VNC to connect and there is no keyboard or mouse plugged into my Server.

    Ta

    A.

Your Pretty much Screwed sp[ecially since the Server will crash

  11. Ok here is some more info on this... it appears to be at 50% anytime the background video is playing or the spinning globe.  Any other screen, cpu usage it down.  Any way to disable these?  They are a hinderance to the server.

ROCO How are you starting your server remotly or are you local to the server?
