    GRAW 1.06 patch crashing routers?

    I had something similiar as well actually. I could host 1 time and the next time my entire system would lose inet connection. I had to restart GRAW (not the rig) and then it'd allow a host for 1 more time. then it'd do it again. I had the serving rig DMZ'd past 1 netgear and 2 linksys routers, and when the internet connection would drop I could still reach my routers. however when in the loadout screen in graw it'd show my clients drop, my TS would drop and Xfire bombed. We ended up having another person host, and they did fine. I haven't had time to look into the graw problem but I never have problems with my connection, ever. And I've yet to have another drop like that since I stopped hosting. So, while it seemed a coincidence, now that another is describing the problem I have to start wondering...

    Try setting your MTU manually ive had an issue befor like that with something else so i set my MTU manually to 1500 and whaala no more issues...

    Advanced mouse key mapping

    No problem with the MX1000 here but you may need to change the default keymapping in the Logitech software as they may conflict with the keys in GR:AW

    My MX1000 unbinds the center mouse wheel as soon as i install the drivers ive been tryin to figure out how to bind the let and right movement of the mouse wheel to peek...

    I haven't seen anyone running a cheat on our server yet. Until i do i hope they keep plugging at it to make it work well and not lag us also.

    Only cheats i have seen were screenies that were quotes as cheats not being released.

    I have seen thought the invinciblility bug but most that get it realize it now, leave come back and play again.

    They are there you just cant tell ...

    The one thing im starting to notice is more people being Jerks and doing alot of team killing and the kick teamkills does not work had a guy in the server with 43 team kills and there nothing to do about it..

    So with this in mind how long are people gonna wait, till they decide that this game isnt fun anymore, because of these people..

    Plus the fact that hacks have already been implemented befor any server command are even announced..

    But yeah game is fun..

    I don't like to have different pages for different rounds, but only one page with the total stats of different rounds, a sort of ranking of al players who play in it.

    So do i but i also would like a data base to tell whcih map belong to which map** a friend of mine is gonna work on parsing of all XML files for me we will see what he comes up with but i like the layout so far looks nice....

    i'm trying to figure out how it works.

    is this showing what the final scores after each round? -or- is it showing what the scores are currently in the server?

    It is showing the scores after the rounds its not live stats..

    Good Job, it seem to run on our server http://62.149.198.87/grawstats/ , but it takes stats only from a signle xml file. I'd like it take stats from all xml files stored in the directory C:\Programs\Ubisoft\Ghost3\logs

    I had mine edited to make links on the side to pull other xmls for now gonna work on parsing them later..

    Thanks. Here's my ToDo list for the next version:

    -Parse multiple log files, to MySQL database?

    Anybody have any ideas on how this should work?

    Would you prefer just log files stored as text in the database or actualy creating player entries and global scores. The problem I forsee is spoofing, people can change their names and ruin peoples scores on purpose which would be kinda gay if we are tracking stats.

    Its upto you guys Ill write any script if you give some details on what it should do

    I tried using the other patch, and that is when I found out my problem. I tried using the download version patch and it still says 1.02...could that other patch screw up everything?

    After redownloading the d2d it was already updated to 1.06 weird hehe..

    I found the problem. I'm running a direct2drive version of GRAW for my dedicated servers and you cannot patch direct2drive games with the manufact. patches, but you can patch it if direct2drive comes out with a patch. I'm kinda mad right now about this....

    Mine won't patch, it still says 1.02. Any ideas?

    Here is what I have done:

    Removed the mod for the dedicated server, ran the patch and updated successful.

    Restarted my box

    Moved the dedicated server mod back over and changed the line for gui2

    It still says 1.02!!!

    Im tryin to reinstall again still basically i upgraded the server to a 200 gig drive so i wont be done for about 30 min or so...

    Lol of coarse im redownloading it from fileplanet since they love my 45mb/s download it seems to pause..

    I tried to patch my dedicated server today when the new patch came out, and it won't update to the current version. Is the workaround causing the problem? Can someone update?

    Im having the same issue im gonna reinstall the whole server and see how it goes from there

    Tell me how that works out for ya, thanks in advance. Are you thinking it is the work around also?

    If your using the auto start im thinking some of the files he used to make it may have taken affect in the update just dont know which ones iveasked for an update we will see what happens but i will let you know how it turns out...

    We all know the big fix / expansion is coming in June. This was just an update to fix some issues they noticed and wanted to get out of the way.

    Why the hell are you complaining? Your patch is coming. For now say, well I'm glad they made these fixes, I look forward to future ones.

    I swear some people just like to complain. Exactly 9 days after release, we've already gotten a patch that fixes a major issue in co-op as well as enhances AI and corrects some minor bugs. Yet people still complain.

    Ty for your quick support of the game, GRIN. You've definitley made some of the those who said the game will get minimal support doubt themselves.

    You say 9 days after release? that is a long time when you pay 50 Bucks for a game that dosnt play MP well has issues that make it were you cant install the game without editing some files, People end up using hamachi to play online cause going through gamespy wont work for them, people getting cds that wont install because of burns in there legit copies of the disks.

    and so on and so on..

    You know if i were to do a job the way they released this my position would be terminated..

    they should have takin there vacations right befor release.

    That way when the game is released they are there to support the game. when i complete a job im there when the costumer first uses it incase there is any problems..

    So yeah 50 bucks is crappy for something you dont really get to see for 1 month to us multyplayers and server admins...

    Kinda sad when we have more help from people who are spose to be playing the game rather then tryin to fix UBI/GRIN's Mistakes so far if it wasnt for These people that have help us with server issues we would not be able to supply a place for anyone to play..

    add this to the web script... stats...

    The server keeps a stats log of every player. Not sure yet if it auto deletes.

    It dosnt look like it cause i have about 100 of them so far...

    a friend here at work is gonna look at the logs for me and se what he can script up if he makes me anything ill share..
