I have Had alot of compliments on my server although my work dosnt offer dedicated servers yet. Im talking to the boss about adding some. Hopefully soon and ill make sure everyone gets the best prices.

My Server is Running on 45 meg upload i see it peaking at about 2 meg up with 26/26 players, Im not seeing lag or anything except on some of the players with a higher ping is there anyway to optimized this?

I Agree, cause i cant stand when im having problems goin up stairs because of the CAN that im tryin to step over makes me get stuck..

To Ban by IP dosnt make any sence, Most ISP's renew IP's to their customers every 2 weeks soooo in 2 weeks time the user can play again. and you cant exactly ban a whole block. As for the Anti Cheat basically there is no way to totally stop it someone will always figure out a way around it. On my server i run ther current anti cheat and i know it dosnt work for poo and kicks every one for altered files but might as well use something they gave us since there not gonna give us what we want and need until the end of summer..

You can actually do that from any server

LOl ill tell you 1 way if a guy can turn around and run through a crowd of people killing them all then there is a cheater haha..

Has anyone happen to find any files with server commands im looking for a way to kick players who have been causing problems in our servers and i know there is something out there that works just not sure what it is? Can anyone help with this?

Yeah they added fast switch keys but they only work half the time...

You know what the next patch really need? Thats right another patch..

I would love too see GRIN remodel GR1 with the new engine, but with same maps (and a few new ones added), same gameplay, gametypes, and weapons. I for one would purchase it without hesitation. It would be a better alternative for those of us who loved [GR]. How about it Grin, study [GR] and remodel it guys. Thats exactly what they did with Counter Strike Source but more people still play 1.6 over source odd but true.

||Ghost Squad|| Dm Server was set to 10 seconds but now i have lowed it to 5 seconds with no death limit since i find DM just a good way to unwind

even though there was only 6 players on one of the official servers yesterday, it ran remarkably well... for a while, and then they closed it down. ideally, those servers should be hosted on monster machines with insane bandwidth connections. we'll see... We me and a few others went in one of there servers and it ran like it was using 2 cups and a string for internet connection..

I dont understand how this is gonna help us? UBI Servers? They are all empty...

people Have been turning off there AC dude to Gamespy kicking cause of CD key so you may only be getting away with it because it is turned off

What i did to my servers is basically start the points at 1500 in the beginning they can get what they want but the rest needs to be earned.. Unlimited deaths is fun for now until the game runs good enough to use tactics. Kinda sucks when all your deaths are waisted on Grenades and what not. anywho just thought i would put in my 2 cents

I did not start this post about nonsence ive been running one of the top servers in the community. I tried to play in one of the UBI servers last night cause mine were down AGAIN!!. and holy mother of lag spike, I gave it a chance im just asking for some simple fix to let me keep my servers running for the community till you guys make it more Adminable. I thank you guys for the patch's and trying to get the game up to par but were not getting accurate testing with people running servers from there home DSL. Keep up the good work...

Well the modders have found a way to disable it can you maybe just give a file to replace it that dosnt spin? i would just rename it or something but i have no idea what file it is..

Is that spinning globe back ground can some one let us know how to remove it?

I saw a tutorial folder within the GRAW folders but havnt looked inside, have you checked there?

The only thing that disappoints me is they still made no way for use to run servers remotely? Is this done on Purpose? thanks to the modders who made us the autostart scripts but right now my server keep getting kicked off of game spy. Luckily My servers are hosted were i work so i can restart them all day as needed but as i leave tonight the servers then get to go down while im driving home and no chance to enjoy my low ping in my home server. Sorry for the run ons. If someone could update the autostart script Cheese would be a happy man.
