i've been having the same problems... i'm assuming that the patch checks your registry for the GR path, but due to some unknown error, cannot find it... i'd appreciate it if anyone who's running GR could simply open up their registry editor, navigate to " HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Red Storm Entertainment\Ghost Recon\" & describe what strings you have under there, especially one that contains the path or directory where you installed the game... thx
