I've finally had a chance to test this mod out and I have to say most things are looking good! Still have't started out on the campaign though and I'm looking forward to it! Only things I've found so far that might be worth any critisism is that some of the weapon textures are alittle un-nessesarily big and that there is the odd skin copy still laying around. But that's more a whinge from poor K56 user than anything else. @Thumper: couldn't be more wrong mate. I'm still keeping busy with my little vehicle experiment and it's looking better and better. Might just get a new render up dur

You sure it had to be ^BonePoint? I exported a head attachment with the usual ^HeadPoint and it worked a charm with headphysics. The helmet flew off almost everytime I blew that poor character up.

Why wouldn't it be possible mate? Bet you'd love to see the list of weapons we are thinking of doing! As soon as modeling for swebat is completed then we can dig into the HK stash of weapons, we already have a load of them done in previous projects and that's models that easily could be brought up again.

Most of those pics are slowly making their wayto my harddrive too, how I hate my old K56 connection at times! And btw ogre, Looks more like G36 and HK M4 with AG36 Gl's to me

Most of the time when I see one of those blasted little things come flying my way I just wish I had a baseball bat handy. Send a homerun right back to the little tango that threw it! -
Not much on that sample site monty, just specwargear's index page. Removing the helmet would be a 3dsm issue though and not something you just can do with a skin. Plus there wouldn't be many SWAT guys on this planet that would want to go in without a helmet on, most pics you will find looking like that is posed display shots.

Cobra directed me to them a couple of hours ago And I just knew someone around here would find the pics of the production Shrikes, all I'm waiting for now is the mass assault of PM's asking if I'll re-make my shrike mod to feature the new variants

Whoever took those photos don't know much about focus settings though! 99% of the pics are to darn fuzzy to use

thanks mate Some of that it thanks to 3dsm 5.1's advanced lighting though, smooths out small defects in the texture nicely. Here's a desert tan version of the 2. Might have to make them alittle lighter in colour though, or? Snow

I'd say anything bigger than a peashooter would knock a hole in a hummer mate! The hummer is a civilian car, the HMMWV is the military vehicle and it does have some armour plating but not enough to really stop bullets in its original configuration. Newer HMMWV's, M1114 "Up-Armed", is said to have enough armour to stop 7.62mm AP rounds though so a Minimi would have a very hard time punching though it!

Thanks for the compliments guys @Ogre: I know they are alittle warped mate, still not a 100% done with that texture though so expect to see them alittle more tweaked in their final look. @Streinger: renders can be found in the below links mate. Standard XM8 Standard XM8, different angle XM8, XM8 Sharpshooter + misc HK weapons

I think it acctually says on his site that all files where saved with 3dsm V4.0 so your copy or 3dsm V3 wouldn't be able to open them.

Can't keep from posting alittle SS of my XM8's ingame too Standard XM8 and XM8 Sharpshooter in olive drab Handplacement is still alittle off but this was a quick export just to see what they looked like ingame.

I'd say that the wall mounted mines with laser tripwire goes way further back than that in the game world. I can clearly remember them from Duke Nukem 3D

I know there is atleast one Galil model 386 .223 with black plastic foregrip displayed at FJVollmers website, or there atleast were one there before. Could that be something like what you are looking for mate? Hang on, found more than one there. Model 710 Model 386 Looks like another 386 and more Anything useful?

That's odd, it should work! I know I am running the Max4X Levelexporter plugins with my 3dsm 5.1 without any problems.

Now that would definately be considered as an addition to the HK mod Thumper and I slowly are working on! Great find mate Unfortunately Swebat is taking up most of our time at the moment and the HK mod is on the backburner. Once we get more spare time I'm sure we'll dig into it all over again.

It's all being burnt right now, all 3gig of data that scandisk managed to retrieve. And I do have backups on cd, thing is that the last backup is something like 2 weeks old and wouldn't of included the last bits of work, but even if the data would of been unretriavable I wouldn't of been totally screwed I've had both good and bad experiences from Scandisk in the past, once upon a time it for some reason took a dislike to my mp3 collection and wiped every single one of them. Strangely enough it was only mp3's that got wiped and it wiped them wherever it could find them over 2 separate disk

Update Looks like I'm off the hook gentlemen. *PHEW* Fifth attempt at running scandisk worked and it seems like it managed to retrieve all the files and folders that was corrupted. Time to do a backup of it all before I do anything else!

Heya gentlemen. As the topic says I've come across a problem on one of my harddrives, or some reason a whole folder of mine seems to be corrupt. Of cource its my modding folder containing 1 year of collected 3dsm work, all my textures, my whole library of weapons pictures and other 3dsm tools. If I try to open the folder all I'm getting is: Checking the folders properties says that it contains 0 folders and 0bytes I've tried running over the disc with scandisc but it won't complete the scan and stalls about half way through. Anyone have any ideas or am I really up ###### creek h

If that's what you are looking for mate then you just can't go past Operation Stabilise. All the Steyr Aug models you'd ever want is in there!
