  1. As far as I know he's just trying to get a hold of a working model to use ingame, he's PM'd me asking if I can send him the .pob and any textures used for it. Aparently he doesn't have IT and has no chance of getting it. I'm alittle apprehensive of sending parts of the original game though and replying to the PM has slipped my mind, real life has been totally haywire for the last week
  2. Crikey! Now that looks bloody amazing guys. This is going to be a definite download once its released and is just making my itch for getting into map making worse!
  3. Think there is a problem with that though mate, as far as I can remember Paintshop Pro can't handle Alpha channels. Correct me if I'm wrong though as I haven't used that perticular program in a long time.
  4. I've taken alittle time off from the CV9040C APC today to finish off one of our specialists. Say hello to SWEBAT's second international specialist, an SAS operator. He'll come with 2 different headattachment and will be armed with either Diemaco C8, MP5A5, MP5SD6 and Sig Sauer P226. Without attachments With helmet attachment With helmet and SF10 gasmask attachments
  5. It's not really a mag release mate its the same type of mechanism the M16/M4's have, that holds the bolt open after the last round in the mag has been fired.
  6. Looks as good as always mate! Although I think you might of missed out on the Last round mechanism the MP5/10 and MP5/40 has, I can't atleast see them in the pics. Closeup of a MP5/10
  7. I know I should't post in here but you forgot this one mate 9mm's entry (Poly Count = 797) (Texture Res = 512^2)
  8. hmmm...last time I practiced anything like this it went something in this order: 1: recieve elbow to face, splitting eyebrow. 2: recieve right fist in gut, ending up doubled over. 3: notice kick to face just in time to avoid getting hit, resulting in so far lucky ###### loosing balance. 4: Introducing his left kidney to my right fist, doubling him over 5: finishing things off with an allmighty kick to morons rear end, sending him flying into a shrubbery. Can't really advocate this approach though as it took 5 stitches to close my left eyebrow the following morning, need I say
  9. I've just started out on the campaign here, not very sucsess fully I might add. Got my rear end handed to me on a platter 3 times on mission 1 in a 10 minute timespan Think I need more gaming and less modding for some reason!
  10. Bout a 2 hour drive north from me I'd say, if the traffic behaves that is. Lucky you would get the sea breeze though and wouldn't have to suffer the temperatures us westies get! Hit an all time high in the west last week when it hit 44 degrees (111 F for anyone not familiar to Celcius). First couple of weeks after I got here I was pretty knocked out by the jetlag and heat, now I can handle it aslong as it stays under 40.
  11. What transponder mate? Don't think any Swedish vehicle ever has had one of those, even when serving along other forces in peacekeeping duties. I remember sitting in a truck at the head of a convoy (1 swedish truck and about 20 US ones) stopped by a peaceful demonstration, 50 odd little old ladies sitting in the middle of the road. I have to admit I got alittle nervous hearing the US CO radioing in for airsupport, just in case things got ugly. When we 5 minutes later had 3 Apache gunships circling us like sharks my nerves just got considderably worse! 3 gunships for a bunch of old ladies, no
  12. Now that's one hell of a move mate! I know since I've done it myself 3 years ago, although it was from Sweden though.
  13. Anytime Streigner! If I can help then I will mate And about the flag. All Swedish vehicles used in international duties carry the Swedish flag as identification, they usually even have a spotlight aimed at the flag to keep it lit during darkness. Right now it looks alittle funky though with it standing right out like that but I've planned ahead. The flags mesh is acctually made up of about 150 polys (instead of 4 polys that a rectangular shape with 2 sides usually is) and I'm planning on modifying it so it look more like the flag is more or less hanging from the pole with folds and all.
  14. Not to be a total pest but there are acctually 3 entries Mine, OglesbyP's and 9mm's.
  15. Maybe so mate, thing is that was a total figment of my imagination! I know atleast I wouldn't want to haul around a Minimi para with an M203 underneath it! For one thing I can see a distinct problem in firing the M203 since you have to reach around the Para's ammo box to reach the trigger.
  16. yup, some ###### in the PR department have managed to load the mag with the bullets the wrong way around! Either we are talking someone that knows absolutely nothing about handguns or a slightly suicidal person hoping that he can tag himself in the head without even having to point the "dangerous" end his way!
  17. Come on guys...there's got to be atleast one of all the gun nuts in this forum that can tell what's wrong with that picture! Lancer...Para...anyone????
  18. Ummmm, don't you remember mate? You've already donated the CG for use by us Don't think we have really returned the favour though so.....anything specific in mind? And the Swedish army uses 2 different handheld AT weapons, the regular Pskott m/86 (US designation AT4) that actually is a swedish design from the start and the Carl Gustav grenade launcher. The CG acctually excists in 2 different versions though, GRG m/48 and GRG m/86. Only difference being that the m/86 is a lightweight version of the m/48 plus it has a carry handle. Using mostly aluminium and plastic parts and with the tub
  19. Sir, Yes Sir! I'll try my best at fitting it into my tight shedule! Think I'm suffering from the same things as chems, the TFHID syndrome (To Few Hours In the Day) And I didn't mean to dissect anything mate
  20. So do we mate! lol So far only one mission has been scripted though, not a 100% complete but most of it is done. The task list we have left to do is as follows: Weapons AK5 - Surefire handgrip AK5B - Surefire handgrip AK5C - Laser designator KSP58D AT4 MTB LAW 2 handgrenades Flashbang (modeled, just needs a texture) + a few possible tango weapons if we find the time. Characters 2 more characters needs to be done from scratch and almost all exsisting characters needs slight modifications to be used with the cuba environment tag Maps: current
  21. It's just the cover mate And there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with that picture!
  22. Try doing what I'm doing right now, running 3DSM, photoshop and listening to MP3's at the same time! We are talking serious lag here from time to time!
  23. I'm running a P4 1.8Ghz computer with 512Mb of RAM and it still takes about a minute for 3DSM to fire up. If anything 3DSM really requires alot of RAM to run and I've seen it eat my 512meg in mere seconds before starting to create 100's of meg of virtual memory on the harddrive, this usually only happends when rendering shorter video clips though. Although making a single render at high resolution of a couple of 1000 polygons along with lighting and shodows can eat memory too and usually takes longer than 10 minutes.

    Find the error

Here's a photo of an acctual HK promotional brochure, can you find the error on it??
  25. I've already praised the AK4's in our internal forum but it never hurts to repeat praise! And the AK4 is indeed a slightly modified HK G3 that was built on licence by the swedish defence force. It got adopted for use in 1964 and was used as main assault rifle by the swedish army up till 1985 when it was replaced by the AK5. Today its mainly in use with the Swedish homeguard and a few other forces. The main 2 versions that were built are the standard AK4 and the AK4 OR but recently the AK4's have undergone modifications turning them into AK4B's. The difference being removal of the ironsigh
