They be the best ones I have in my library of a G36C...I do have some G36CV's aswell if you need them
-
Try these 2 on for size, ought to do the trick I suspect.
Also some pics that can be found in the below link, although not as highres.

You ever gonna model some class firearms Snow?

You mean there's no class in that G3 mate? :'(
All I can hope for then is that the next 3 on my "to do" list has enough class to please you mate. They be an FN FAL 50.64, Galil ARM 5.56 and an AKMS....plus a few selected shotguns (Benelli M3 Super 90, Remington 870 and Mossberg 500)
-
Yup, take one FNC....add a sight rail, cut the barrel down, swap flashhiders, remake just about the whole frontend, swap stock and slap on that new aimpoint and we just about have the new AK5C.

-
Thanks mate.
Always nice to get some good feedback from ppl who have tried my mods.
I have however moved on from GR:AW, it's just not modfriendly enough to warrant me putting any more weapons in.
I've lately spent my time with highpoly modeling but ought to be making a comeback to gameart real soon, heck I even have the first 7 weapons for my comeback project finished.

Wait a minute.......
Well, it is my comeback project mate....you never really left so you can't call it a comeback

@Eagle_Eye: I do know the F88 variants and it's attachments fairly well mate....live downunder and regularly play VBS1 using the ADF modules. Unfortunately it just ain't worth the hassle to make something like that for GR:AW as it wouldn't work without new animations. If I were to make another new weapon for GR:AW it would most likely be the new Bofors AK5C

@bullo: I can't say for sure how you would do that easiest as I haven't tried Jason's mod. It would most likely involve rewriting quite a few of the .xml files.

Here's the lineup of what I have sofar, all of them has enough resolution and texture quality that I could put them into GR:AW if I wanted to.

All going into [GR] for an upcoming mod
All models are under 3000 polys and easily of FPWV quality, as a matter of fact they were originally made for an engine with FPWV.I'm going to have to remake the M16 though as I've given it the wrong forearm, should be an A1 forearm instead of an A2

Edit: scratch remaking the forearm...just checked my reference and it's something as strange as an M16A1 with A2 forearm.

Ummm...check my sig mate, there's some text in red there that ought to give a pretty clear indication...lol

Haha... It's snow! Seriously, I pulled it from something I was using in a presentation. It's from the game though.
Umm...thinking about presentation John...any luck with that one we "talked" about or was it all stunned mullets in the audience?

Well, there aint going to be anymore updates on this project for a little while as I'm heading off on a week long holiday later on today.
Once I get back I'll square away the last little bits and make a final render, and then move onto another project

-
Yes it would be.
As would be the fact that the USA is 10x the size of most other countries, and there's more than enough history in our own vast nation to fill a child's mind for hours each day, much less learn about other nations.
Here's to Rabbi staying safe!

Problem there is that us poor sods from the rest of the world (atleast I had to in school) has to learn our own geography and history aswell as just about the rest of the worlds history and geography, I remember spending a few weeks learning US geography and history for example
And even though sweden is a small country our history dates back just that little bit longer than recorded history of the USA, for example Sweden's first urban settlement was somewhere back in the 8th century.Oh well...enough OT, back on topic. Here's another toast to Rabbi's wellbeing and to him staying safe!

If you want Masada pics there's only one place to go, demigod.org.
Not much of an explanation in there though....just the pics.

Nurse...please get my tranquilizer gun...someone needs another shot I think

FN Herstal and FN USA would be the same company, just different branches mate. Just take a look at FN Herstal's webpage, go to news and scroll down untill you find the entry for November 30th.
November 30, 2004FN HERSTAL officially selected for the SCAR program
FN HERSTAL is pleased to announce that its SCAR prototype has been officially selected from a field of competitors through a full and open competition by the US Special Operations Command (US SOCOM) and has been awarded an IDIQ (indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity) contract that is funded for FY-2005.
The FN SCAR is a family of weapons that FN HERSTAL designed and built from the ground up to satisfy the severe USSOCOM requirements. It consists of different variants of rifles, all available in 5.56 (SCAR-Light) and 7.62 (SCAR-Heavy) calibres as well as a Grenade Launcher Module with Fire Control System
The SCAR was Operator specified, Operator tested and Operator chosen.
At this stage, the project is entirely dedicated to address US SOCOM requirements.
The bullup weapon in GR2 would be the XM29 OICW and if you can't see a difference between that and a SCAR you really need another visit to the optometrist.
FN still makes the Minimi, M249, Mk46 and Mk48 and Aimpoint is likely to keep producing the Aimpoint sights for a very long time to come.

-

Does that mean that the reason for me hardly sleeping at all nowadays is that I uploaded it instead of downloading it??????
-
Well, the Belgian weapon (FN SCAR) could have something to do with the fact that SOCOM has awarded the contract for their new rifle to Fabrique Nationale.
And the fact that the mexicans are using a german rifle could also have something to do with the fact that the Mexican army is starting to bring a G36 clone in as their standard rifle, do a quick google search on the FX-05 rifle and you will see.
And I'd seriously doubt that the Special Forces would go to battle packing any of the rifles you previously suggested, bullup just isn't practical!

He is along the eastern coast of Afghanistan. He says he has the view of Pakistan in three directions.
Eh
Afganistan has no coast ZJJ, it's a land locked country bordered by Pakistan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. -
Cheers guys.
Here's something my computer has been working hard on in the last few days, sure it didn't take days to render but as my rig couldn't handle rendering the whole scene in one sweep I had to split it up into sections. It's later been composited together using AVS Videotools.
360 degree turnaround, 8.5Mb .mov file
Excuse the sloppy camera work, I really should of set up a better smooth turnaround

Really does highlights where I still have bumps in the mesh, the rear window is a great example of this.

Yes there was plagerism involved! DA4.9 used someone elses intellectual property without explicit permission = copyright infirigement. Sure it was clearly stated in an accompanying readme file who was to be credited for the work but that's not enough by a longshot. It would be like a radio station playing your very own written and recorded song on-air...but as they first stated that it indeed was written and recorded by you they don't have to pay any royalties what so ever.
Or with knowing how good ppl are with acctually reading those readme files the radiostation only stating in some small text file on their website who wrote and recorded the song that they played.
As for this
As for the BF2 vid, I was talking about the fan made one, "Mine" or something it was calledIf he didn't have explicit permission from the creators of the music used in that videoclip then it was in breach of copyright.
Take this quick example. Say you surf the web looking for cool pictures and happened to come across my website. You like one of the pictures so much that you deside to use it on your own site for a background or icon. Instant copyright infringement and I'm acctually in a position to sue you for damages. Courts back home can grant damages of up to 5000SEK (360 odd pounds) for just the one picture, if you instead of being a "home user" was for example a magazine that used said picture then it could amount to lots more. I know this as I've had renders nicked by a scandinavian magazine and published without my concent, I could sue for quite a bit of money as I have all the proof I need (a copy of the magazine and the original model) but just can't be bothered to go through the hassle of going to court.

Eh...Rabbi is in the service GIWeDa...so I can imagine he would be in an even more unpleasant place to live than when you spent your time in SA.

On the other hand in light of some PM's recieved today by one perticular asswipe I might just give it a miss. I wouldn't want this perticular asswipe to have to once again take time out of his very busy scedule to send me PM's stating things like this.
Ive just downloaded and played the XM8 mod, an old mod you released. Bad model you made eh, hehe ... Those textured holes look really bad , you have improved your models quite a bit from thereHehehe ... I got you angry cause you know the XM8 sucks, as almost all your work, including the dead Swebat, your greatest project is nothing after all, hehehe ... Just dust now ...OMG, and the firing sounds youve used in your mods ? Muahahaha ...
Hahaha, that would be ridiculous ...Go retire dude, Snowbat is dead, as all your game modding ... Your work is nothing but PAST ...
Strangely enough the same asswipe also proceded to tell the Centcom team pretty much the same thing while in the same breath speaking of making a centcom sequel with his own content...

Now I wouldn't want to load the community down with clearly subpar and outdated models created by a hasbeen. So for those of you who can guess who this perticular asswipe is I'd like everyone to thank him dearly for saving you from these poor models.

If I were it would have to be after I finish the car model that I've been working on for the last 2 months, it's to close to completion now to put the project on ice.

If you are looking for a 80mm fan why not go for a Thermaltake Smart casefan II. They are relatively quiet and give you 3 options for operation.
1: Full speed at all times
2: Temperature control using a probe, higher the temp goes the faster the fan spins. I used this setup on my old rig with the probe stuck onto the underside of the CPU heatsink.
3: Dial controlled, gives you full controll over the fan speed. I've currently got a 120mm fan with this setup as my intake fan, 90% of the time it chuggs along at just about idle (1500RPM) but if needed I can crank it up to 3500RPM.
-
Now why would I be joking mate?
The models are all done so it would be a relatively easy job to just export them for GR use, hardest bit would be tracking down my old 3dsm 5 cd and install it on my second computer.
