  1. Yup I'm in. My mic on the headphones died on me; awaiting my RMA to arrive, prolly by middle of next week. Unless I have a fire call, or work related stuff I am good to go.
  2. Times like this that make me wish I still had my servers LOL
  3. Good to see you Rocky! Day Light Savings Time so -6 at the moment. We can try hosting on our connections and see which works best. I don't mind pitching in on a community server if there is enough interest.
  4. I'd be interested, just got the game myself a couple of days ago. Having a hard time finding a decent tactical coop server. I'm in Texas but pretty flexible timewise.
  5. Some of you may recognize the name, been a while! Went ahead and snagged GRAW2 to see if things had improved since GRAW. Got a chance to play a couple of MP games then getting a hard crash with error: Crash in application version: 30899.3048 Unhandled exception - access violation C STACK: graw2 (???) : ??? Renderer: threaded Physics : threaded Running a fresh XP SP2 on a new rig. Any assistance is greatly appreciated TIA!
  6. Update, seems DX got hosed somehow. Needed to freshen things up anyways so formatted and reinstalled XP. All seems to be well now! Thanks for the advice y'all.
  7. Fresh install went fine, but alas LOL: Crash in application version: grpcrc1.02 invalid string position
  8. Yea gonna do a fresh install and crank it up before patching. All I need is 1.30 and the new 1.35 yes? Or do I need the map packs also? Thanks guys for the assist.
  9. Have any mods installed? Make sure your english folder is clean as when newly installed and with patch. Sounds like you have some modified core files not working with v1.35 if it's at startup. It's clean, no mods. Thanks for the help amigo Nopers it's a clean copy, thanks tho bro
  10. The CPU usage and no ability to admin kinda killed it for us hosting it anymore; we tried but it ended up in fustration for our clients and us. Doggone shame, because it's an awesome game!
  11. Nasty little error I get at startup (splash screen to be precise) : Crash in application version: grpcrc1.35 invalid string position Click ok and GRAW closes. Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.
  12. Oh well I wasn't playing it much anyways. Hopefully there will be a fix so I can check out the patch one of these days LOL
  13. Thanks bro, I was trying to play on my desktop actually. I gave up trying to admin graw servers a while back LOL
  14. Just patched, get this error on splash screen start up: Crash in application version: grpcrc1.35 invalid string position
  15. No wonder the guys from GRIN don't post much anymore with some of the responses I have read on this thread.
  16. FSX is great, been simming (and beta testing) on MS FS for ages. www.fsgateway.com and www.projectai.com are good fs sites, good bunch of FS nutty folks too.
  17. I think we are all a little fustrated, doggone shame too. Its a really awesome game!
  18. Good luck, looking forward to this one, great lighting and detail!
  19. Where did I say anything negative about Defcon? I don't care what he does or does not do. I would probably if this was my bread and butter business. But it is not. He can sell all the servers he wants. I do this for fun and making great friends not to pay the bills. And hello, most companies shop the competition, I have it done to me all the time. I don't mind at all. Well the "Western Business practises" you mention is business 101. Your country may do business differently, I respect that. But don't bash me for something that is common business practice here in the US. I mean, if you don
  20. My question, what the heck were the EA execs smoking when they tought of that brilliant idea. LOL!!
  21. Geez EA screwed the pooch on this one too, you guys should see the good ole' boy ISP club they have for their ranked servers. Makes me sick. I put up with their buggy BF2 and now this for 2142? I'll spend my cash elsewhere, EA isn't gonna get it.
  22. Speaking of uninformed! LOL Not going debate with you, you have no clue who I am or what we do. And just for your info we have vast experience in developing security products and security modules for e-commerce applications and high end financial servers. So we DO know coding. Gaming servers is more of a hobby not a business. Have a super day amigo!
