the attack option does work very well when team is equiped with zeus later in mission 4 (bunker mission)
That's interesting. Are you saying that the ZEUS can be used to destroy the bunkers instead of the C4? If so, what heat sig does it lock onto? If this is not the case, can anyone tell me if I still need to cart around this very heavy one-shot wonder after I have destroyed the bunker and can re-arm at the helo?
you might wanna have a zeus with ya, when you have past the bunkers
-
*spoiler*
fight your way inside, then it becomes clear

(snipe the far side bunker first as it lays down a hefty .50cal on approach)
-
the attack option must be executed when ai and target are in one clear line of sight of each other, otherwise it does notwork and you get the winning teammate calling it off

no need for shouting (caps) bomberuk
you might not have walked the right way, that is what is ment with leaving mission area
there is another way to get there, try another route use tac map if you have not done so far (which is unlikely but you never know)

when the weapon mods come i'd like them to be dedicated to one or two weapons, as you can add what is desired in game,
i'd rather have 4 scopes to chose from rather than 30+ rifles with the same options
like whiteknight77 said, i too find that i use only 3 or 4 weapons that suit the missions
allready i find myself just using only two of the given 5 weapons (primairy) (mr-c and scar-H)
maybe a c8 would be nice to have in game or m468
i would love a P90 though

in [GR] there was tooo much of everything you did not use
but i did like the dedicated mods like the scar mod and m468 mod for [GR]

i think a lot of people complain because they bought an unfinished game
or wanted a finished game and heard it was not finished
i can understand that, and how people react to it, what i can not understand is that some people try to place blame when the dev's already gave an answere with the upcomming patch
i think they got rushed by us and / or ubi, both screaming for a dead line
and both not wanting another delay
just try to imagine your reaction if it got delayed, then some would say, give me the unfinished product and patch it on the way
but for negativity, if you read between the lines most are dissapointed and try to vent that, that is a forum, and i think there is a lot of positive feedback in the negativity (positive in the fact that they offer solutions)
-
got it too and i did not want to post it on the forum because some might flame grin again on this
i mailed them a screenshot
it happend to me in parking, ambassy and bunkers, most of the time it goes away but sometimes it stays till next save point
it is a nasty thing but i got on with it
-
make sure you use the "cover" command on all your team members
-
btw: whats the main difference between easy, normal and hard? more enemies? you cannot take as many bullets in hard as in easy,...etc?
i don't know, more enemies i think, but i hope it is more than that
can any one answere it clearly ????
sorry might be off topic
on topic:
I MADE IT !!!!
had to wait the assault out till the last man, sneaky basterds hide well behind allmost every thing

at the embassy my sniper did use his secondary
due to the fact i put him in a tight spot
(left side down stairs in that corner of broken pillars)

yeah, the embasy mission / deffend till extraction is damn hard
i got killed while trying to board the helo, i pressed x and bang game over
but it is a great mission just have to find the trick to get through it

If you like the competition, you will like PGL. Do not seek further or you will waste your time, PGL is here to make you feel the intensity of matches which pumps the adrenaline, who makes you feel your heart beat in your throat, who makes your entire body tremble, who makes cold sweats run along your face,
this sounds just a tad erotic

LOL

thanks sunraa but i did get that

prob my lacking english writing
i know the editor is in third line, but i thought about the lack of texture mentioned earlier could be in the last line
i am a noob in these things so never mind me if it is not
just saw the line with all that false in it :
<compile xml="false" scripts="false" mopps="false" texture_db="false"/>
last option was texture_db
it was just a thought
posted the whole xml for those who could understand it and maybe find more to it

to me hl2 does not come close to having a realistic view
when on the beach in the intro in lost coast it is like looking at a cardboard box city
when in the helo flying in or para jumping in to mexico it has a far more impressive look
graw is kinda heavy, but it flows a bit better and feels better
hl2lc does not, surely not the open spaces do it for me
the framerates might be better but that is it, graw has little of the fantasy fancy things like golden chandeliers etc to show off with but when looking at the transparency of car lights it does have that fancy stuff built in
but i do think it is also a matter of opinion
hl2 does have better framerates but that is it for me, it lacks in pretty much every thing else
(oh they have the mp7 but that is all i think)
i made the comparision on my own system, as i have (so ashamed) hl2 on it

i think you have got a point but......... (sorry for the but thing)
here you have the freaky thing of having the enemy being sneaky in dark corners and ally's
which makes for a different tension
i would like to see some other maps yet these do give some amount of anxiaty for me when i am walking to the next point of the mission
stammina, i noticed that it does make a difference but you have to be aware of it,
in firefights just after running it does (for me or in my mind) effect my aiming
not that much though as i am a bad shot

used for screenshot:
C++editor
hex editor
but any editor / language that can be able to get in to binairy will do
-
do you have the motherboard soundcard drivers fully installed ?
that might be it
possible solution that worked for me
i bought a 10 euro 5.1 card and it works
might be the problem a long with drivers

i have voted a nine
because i think it is great work
ofcourse there are flaws and bugs
but emotionally i think it comes close to the [GR]
it plays okay and the story is gripping
i judge this on SP only because i have not played online yet
i do miss a few things, and if i would be the bad ass teacher who knows best
and this was a school project from the bully of the class i would rate it a 6
but i am not and they are not
this rating is for grin and their work
bugs are always there and i have taken that in account
but that does not take away my joy of having a great game now which will improve in the future
this is going to meet our hopes and standards (for one i don't mind the jaggies)
in a year or so i think this will be our new [GR]
when all (anoying / major) bugs have been dealt with
but i am an optimistic person

one thing that might be helpfull for a patch or add on
is an individual server info screen, when browsing in the server list you can click on a server and see who's there and time duration of the game so you also decide if these are the people you were looking for
most now just say GRAW server that might change in future, but it still would be helpfull
-
the method we used also uncovered a lot of xml files if not all
but my friend is still off line (went to the beach i think) so untill i speak with him no details on the programs used
-
game spy thingy
use tab key to go to next input box not enter or mouse
then it works fine
nice review
have fun playing on hard

a lot of negative posts. not so many positive ones

i do remember a xml edit for coop, but with the bundle just opend and the amount of xml files........, maybe it has yet to be found
but there will be a patch soon, and editor,
untill then it is or finding the xml we need, or sit and wait and talk in circles over and over and over
