like the first reaction when shot, it gave a shock like motion
but i think the second burst and reaction to it was little bit over done, but it did give a great impression of what can be done

i finished the game today *hurray for me*
one can see in it what they want, one can play it how they want
but for the forest thingy yes there is a lack of lush green enviorment
which gives you the feel of being outside in nature
but all the other things well.... even the lack of trees can be put aside when seeing the open spaces with the cars and parkbenches they make great bushes, rocks or tree lines , the palm here and there and the flowers and such they do give the same tense gameplay while scanning the area for tangos, okay it is not a forest and i do miss that too but it has got the feel or should i say,
i have got the [GR] feel after completing the game
and did you actually play the game ?
i got in each mission about 14 up to 20 instant kill shots
go figure..........
and there is even the posible instant kill that may happen to you (as in gamer)
this game may not look like a forest and farm day or night but it does have the feel once you have played it, well for me it has gotten that feel after playing it
i hope you will play this game till the end and be honnest about it,
when you find yourself not impressed forget my words, then it is a personal experiance for everyone different

someone from GRIN did say that the enemy AI wouldnt be like the 360 AI..."super soldiers".....I think they are worse tho...
I agree that the AI are hackers....they use AA and retlock....maybe names....I dont know....
i did read something about an even more hardcore setting some time ago
think it was when the hard missions were all done that it would be available
can't remember any details though,
i finished the game at normal, now i am going for the hard part

and those claiming they all got machine guns, i tried to count them in the last level
and it was somewhere at 1 in 4 (same as our team)
i loved the fact that they too used the scar H got me some ammo
and i did get a head shot from AI while still firm in green health
i also gave headshots, one can check each mission review with lethal shots
lets see if hard missions are worse AI or just more of them or both....
because i only did demo on hard

WOW that is great first mod ever

i think that when the community tries to mod things grin did not think of they will look at it as a posible option for a patch or expansion
with people like you experimenting they too see what is posible and what we would like to see

is there also a posibility to make the aimpoint fit the mrc ?
or is there any one who has the thought of making a mod to make any scope fit any weapon ? or is that too much to ask ?
i like the progres you guys make love the way you tackle this limitation of scopes

did [GR] have mod tools ??
we had a mission scripting tool IGOR but i do not remember the SDK
and [GR] did do well at this
we know we will get an editor in june and coop editor a month later
if you go to the modding forum you will see a lot of progress happening
i remember a post from colin that was REALLY promissing
i think that modding tools are important but it is the community that needs to hold faith for good things to happen
have faith and check the mod forum, you will see things happen

if you can give the order to attack to the heli then wait for comformation
if that has come then it will be blown up if it does not confirm your request do it again (the attack order to the heli)

sp missions. hard or normal ?
because in normal you can just sneak quite good up to the .50cal nests
they shoot fairly good not UBER good
and if you can spot an enemy turning and shooting, and realizing it turned and then shot at you, did you not hassitate to shoot first ?
the AI is a good shot, but it does not have Uber mode on
even in hard missions they are not all alert
it might be that you find the normal and hard mode to be too far apart, though i have not experianced it as such a difference as you stated
could be just a personal thing, hope you salve it

might be you are right, but when it comes to modding it is a great thing AS is going to work once there are tools
that will do great things to make GRAW popular like the mods did for [GR]
i was not refering to TDM or coop , just a way of raising popularity

to those afraid of cheating by accident, you could install GRAW twice,
1 for modding 2nd for gaming. no harm done
this is a war game right ?? (listening to drowning pool..love and war)

i have no weapons experiance as in shooting high powered rifles, but i do know you can zero your rifle and that it is often done to compensate for the bullit drop over the average distance
this game has as mentioned before by others no real long distance shots
zeroing a rifle is at about 200/300 meters (i have heard) there for the bullit drop is not an issue i guess
the speed factor at these distances don't even apply ingame because of the PC's running it and if online the lag, (meaning it is a drag on the pc resource hog and creating internal lag etc. etc.)
putting them in would make it worse than reallife i think, but i am not an expert so i ask you your opinion, would it make a REAL difference ??
concidering the game as it stands in these settings ?
as for recoil ? i have no clue on that, and i am a single shot person so don't have issues with it

i read it as :
the scripting part of the editor as in scripting enemy AI will not be here untill the summer
because of the explicit coop and [GR] coop mentioned in the post at ubi forum
that means no for june sp editing in my eyes, we just have to wait a little longer for us sp / coop fans
(did the whining work ?? hope not, would just be coincidence.........
wait i don't believe in that...........
whining did not work, they just want to work longer on the coop mission part of the game because it is worth it and coop people are more patient and will be rewarded so ?? .....................

i am just glad there is a time table for it all

if you onhly have one complete patch those with low bandwith will lose out on the patching in due time because o the down load time invalved
i think that it would be nice to have complete patches though, but the small inbetween patches should be available too otherwise it would mean
certain death for the low bandwith side of the gamers
this will hurt sales and graw as a whole
think steam situations when you have not played hl2 for a while
it takes forever and ruins the moment when you do want to play

i don't know but i think some of us realize this game is still unfinished and that work is still in progress,
i will not argue that you may not point out your points but some people here feel it is just a repetition of all other posts that state problems,
every individual has his or her own problems and give your opinion, only that way it can be noticed, but if you do not like GRAW and refuse to accept it as it stands and is going to be patched up the way it is,
some might feel you should think of playing it when it so bothers you, therefore making your post empty of meaning, although that is how i see things
some just like the spectacle of a hot debate over this game (hence the popcorn and pizza + beer remarks)
as for some points about lethality i think few of us actually have been in these situations in real life, but imagine this,
when shot at and hit by any kind of bullit, everybody reacts different some lay down with an injury others may be all adrenaline rushed and get up and fire back
as for technology consider this:
not all is compatible even in the perfect army
the airforce may have different systems for targetting (this is often the case in real wars although it can be salved technologicly, one can see in gulfwars and afghanistan)
and for the zeus rocket, it needs a heat source, and a clear path, that is very obvious
any heatseaking rocket will not fire when no heat is found, this is a fail save
i have no real life militairy experiance, just my common sence and the information i gather from internet and other media, and some real life soldiers whom are friends of mine
so i might be wrong on any account because of my interpertations on any thing
but i trust those whom give me this info and myself in dealing with the info
i have seen birds hit a window one just plays dead, the other gets up and flies away
and some do die
