  1. the indicator being optional so you can have diamond with names just diamond or non or only when aimed at team mate for a visual confirmation
  2. don't have answeres for you but you could check the map modding forum http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/index.php?showforum=141 on the first question i have an answere, keep pushing the mouse button after a few seconds it will appear
  3. i'd still give it a try when you dish up a platform version i would draw the line when zombies come on stage and it involves 5 meter giants
  4. i've got graw to play, so any delay would not hurt as much as last year, when i had nothing to play (due to anticipation and lack of my online buddies that were bussy with other things)

  6. grin should take a good look at the community. we're limping for a limp some complaints have poor aim and the anticipation for more info makes us breath heavy we are a perfect example of a wound model
  7. thanks for the replies i was wondering about it cause a) i get confused in text/xml editing (it does not talk to me) b) server side missions on pre made maps, custom or grin, would lively up the experiance as the server can change missions without knowing it c) a seperate scripting tool would invite more people to script and be creative, not asking for a scripting tool, only pointing out it would be appriciated (i would even pay more for a tool, and that might be for some to say: heey he made a fool of himself they should have provided it for free) due to the lack of programming expe
  8. incase of AC ?? and otherwise it would be pointless to download it for clients, though it is good for the collection and home play the main point for me is if it is possible to make a script for an excisting map outside the .bundle with in a manner that would not need to switch from one editor to the other, this would reduce time in production and modding, and maybe open a way for a tool like igor. (again, i will not be bold to ask any one to make a tool like igor, i only ask for answeres towards possibilities)
  9. it would seem logical (at least to me) that when you can have mission scripts outside the ".bundle" you can also work towards a kind of igor tool (that would involve a lot of work and it is purely speculation and fantasy) but all good things start with a dream if everyone needs the same script it would be a small sacrifice, and only requires a small fast download, which might not have to be re- loaded

  11. so one part is answered, this would mean you can have maps going out empty to explore and bring a mission online that no one has played(could be a tourneys dream:P though i never played any. i know back in [GR] days i played missions with friends and they were going ###### on the unknown sui missions on maps they knew) now the tricky thing can missionscripts be ouside the bundle ?? oh and one other insanity, TvT with mex AI that are just for extra so a server is never empty on one side not talking about bots, but ai that hold key positions if only 15 spawn at one time, more tha

  13. as my addiction grows and grows and i finally got my friends to play graw excitement is growing and my head is in overdrive any way you all know i appriciate the work grin does and i love the game (would that be a sign of a fanboi ?) i was thinking about how grin does the editing work, you know scripting missions planning maps and such, is that the same way we do it at home ? going from one editor to the other and back again ?? checking coordinates and then back to xml ? do you use standard scripts and copy paste them ? cause if you (grin) do it like we have to, it is obvious
  14. what decision is poor and did grin make that call ?? for all i have read about graw 2 it is a big improvement and with lots of suggestions from the forum implimented, it may still not be to your liking but how would you know it is not even here yet... i can't wait for graw2 cause i think they get closer with every step.
  15. i think not much has changed for the graphics cards, thought i have read a comment about it somewhere from bumbi about upgrading... (it somewhere in the graw2 forum) i would not worry too much about it
  16. i kinda liked the skin from graw... (see it in the re-lit hollow map) but this is a nice change and will not complain about it (OPTION > can you chose skins ?? graw and graw2 skin ??)
  17. about the name in lower left corner... maybe mitchell has a memory problem and he has to read his own name in order to give orders cause he got shot up bad in my campaign but maybe you can chose to leave mitchell home or at base and take brown for a walk or allen , and no i won't take kirkland, cause he prolly did not learn to shoot since graw and his reloading problem. maybe you can be your own hero, write down your game name and see that in the hud, that would be fun....
  18. oh i now get it, [GR] was like "team 17" or "X-men" and graw is then like "deathblow" or "wolverine" maybe graw 2 will be a nice crossover
  19. what if it got scrapped ? then half the community would complain they lost their favorite weapons .... you don't have to use it ... and it is an option, just set server settings to restrict light assault weapons about the m4, if it isn't in graw2 you could always see if snowfella's mod can be addepted ....(if he gives permission... if it is needed)
