sorry to budge in but i asked for the new mp mode read the graw forum topic called "i'm so sorry there is too much shooting" or something like that (http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=40752) i nearly explained the whole context of the game and it got some positive replies so maybe they listend to that post i don't know for sure but i do know some want something like that because it changes TvT/MP gaming from mindless running to siege or just nade spamming through ten minutes of TDM (i do not want to upset TVT players who do not nade spam or servers which are fun to pl

i think that when you have a rifle in real life and you would hold it on the hip and fire a round, then bring it up the shoulder and fire a round, then aiming and firing a round you would see that when you have it on the hip you have little or no reference to what you aim, just straight forward when it is on the shoulder, you automaticly aim a little with the fingers and the barrel line (you'd follow the line of the barrel) (like aiming a javalin) this is for me like a cross hair, but this may also be a personal experiance as i have had no fire experiance with anything else than air gun

when i read from the hip i always think of CSS style animations and i think it implies a less accurate manner of shooting than what we have in graw. maybe i just take it too seriously

you shoot from shoulder, not hip, the gun never goes down so it is and polly will be shooting from shoulder and accurate as such as there is no shooting from the hip stance/animation (shoulder is much more controled than hip) check graw when you spawn, and shoot from "the hip" that is not my hip up there, its a shoulder.... the animation to sights is only a slight nudge of the head,
