  1. some form of ret is needed i guess for the hud and crosscom to point and click directions, but a ret showing up when activating crosscom and no ret when not using the crosscome would be nice
  2. try out CSS and play with the reticule there, you will see that if you tweak it a lot you will have a color that will always stand out in any map, or that you will make the size to your liking in some cases just a dot, in other cases the width of the spread, making aiming easier. in css you have unlimited options which can be seen as cheats, options should be balanced or forced server side. in css it is ingame but with some knowledge of the console you can do pretty much everything. for graw2 i think two well balanced reticules maybe three would do nice put in two or three colors (agai

  4. Maybe it's which weapon they are currently using? Like you, the rest of the team has most likely multiple weapons with them. that might be it, but in graw you did not see them use the secondairy much, nor did i look at the tabs much to get that info, but that might be something that will change this time
  5. i think #2 is stance, three bars full is standing, brown in kneeling, and hume is standing in fire position/or running. i like the color of the right picture, and it has less info thus less distraction it looks like #1,3 and 4 are combined being A/R and stealth/detection in one icon. so that makes the right the newer in my eyes. (why do you need to see their weapon ? you equiped them didn't you/ or it has not been done yet in the right picture ?)
  6. wondered when you would write this post .... it's here finally anyway, i have to agree with you on the view distance, lately i have been playing some [GR] coop maps and it is getting anoying sometimes not that it would destroy the game for me or anything, it is anoying. the remake of docks is a great example. great map, if any of you grinners are looking for a good map, AW 10 daydocks.bundle is the one you should download. but in this map you also see the problem of view distance looking at the snipers on the heli pad and the crane whole containers magicly appear ! you will
  7. death becomes you, GREAT MAP love it, but the garage door is not closed enough. we went underneth it and thought it was ment that way, this caused some crashes. later we figuered that we had to go around it very good map, great use of vehicles and snipers, though some are a real PAIN in the bottom. thanks
  8. great fun playing with you general, but the last map we played had some scripting issues... (compound i think it was, big map with sewer system) at spawn it seemed like some invisible dude was taking shots at us, in the baraks next to spawn there was a driver east of spawn. once clear of spawn it works okay, but the spawn area is somewhat bugged, or hectic maybe it is due to a home server set up, but it is a pain, the rest of the map is quite okay. other than that we have not found any problem yet other than our own failings(like the handgrenade throwing and getting wasted by snipers
  9. lets hope they have become SOFT and gave grin the time they need to make a full game that barely fits on one dvd.
  10. still come in once a day to check if there is news, but there are other things in life why wait, while you can play games, go places etc. and one day find something here(or there) that grips you back in to the game ? if they have info and want to share it, it will be read by most of us and speculated upon, not losing intrest, just putting the heater on low you can not dream of things that you know nothing about. back to YZ

  13. thanks for this awesome map. it is one of if not the best map i have played good lighting and placement of enemies. very creepy (playing with only one other) with them comming from different sides. not too much overkill, and great sniper placements thanks, this one realy is great.

  16. exaggerated or not, i am eager to find out what it is cause it would make a great addition if you can plan your insertion makes levels new every time you play them ... (just starting in an other place you have to get your barings straight, as in spawn on leader sometimes is so disorientating, i love that feeling )

  21. lately i have been playing with friends online [GR] coop and when we have cheats off we get people with two primairies and automatic snipers, (easy to spot tweaks) we try to play clean and then some one comes and ruins our hard work by cheating, well we think it is cheating, so we turn on the AC and it is a pain when someone comes with an auto sniper and starts blazing away 100 rounds just next to you.... (just the sound is enough to get ###### about) as for mods, we tried some mods for our fun games and they work well but we prefer the original settings, and some custom maps.
  22. played it tonight, and it was great fun, almost felt like GR nice placement of tangos reminded me kinda like "the dam" for GR, and spawn on leader is sometimes a problem when near a building or in the cave (how did you tilt the grass static ?? i tried it but could not find how to do it...) thanks for a great map enjoyed it very much
  23. that would be a nice feature [idiot mode] addittion / suggestion for something new (way tooo late, i know... it's idiot mode) maybe a death pose, so you can fake your death like the enemy AI does so often [/idiot mode]
