This has got some merit, I am sure once the TVT side and COOP touneys get up and running a bit more this would be a good suggestion
Well Colin, this is not going to happen until (1) the patch comes out (2) and the patch must address the many MP (tvt) issues head-on.
My feeling is that the game, for SP, sure, is great. [Funny though how both GRAW and LET DOWN took away soul switching and cut the team in half.]
But the MP is totaly garbage.
The game is out three weeks and there is so little ladder activity from the clans it's sad.
Thus far, GRIN has let the MP community down, and has one shot at redemption, JUNE!

Rugg, you know that they didn't. It is really sad to see so much hype, by Bo, about how true to GR1 he was for MP etc., and you get online and about 50-100 persons playing DOM Mode (tvt).
Talk about a beeeotch slap by the community. How did if feel GRIN? Was it strong enough to wake you ###### up so that you may yet still save the MP (tvt) side of this game?
Their MP (tvt) Dom Mode is a poorly conceived and executed copy of BF2+CS= POOP...the MP (tvt) numbers, or rather, lack of numbers, says it all!
It looks like "Let Down" and "GRAW" had a lot in common. That is a shame.
Will the June Patch fix it??? I have shaken faith. Trust through verification.

I've been seeing people online running extremely fast lately!!!!They are impossible to hit and they get to the midmap sections before anyone else at the start of games catching the other team by surprise!
Are these guys cheating already???
Cheating ruined GR1 for me, isnt there something GRIN can do about this???
Oh my friend, you are in luck. There is indeed something that GRIN can do, and HAVE done regarding cheating.
Bo had the foresight not to include PB, or Replays.
Then to ensure everyones fun, you can't kick or ban on the Gamespot servers...
And Dom Mode, well, Bo got that one right too! This is why there about 50-100 playing at any given time!
Maybe June patch will save GRAW MP. Doubt it.

You know i knew about all that stuff already but i failed to post it because now you will see a bunch of people doing it good job scuba.. Keep ruining the game...
Whatever dude. I didn't post a do-it-yourself guide to cheating. If nothing was said, would it be better? People would eventually figure it out.
At least this way, GRIN definitively knows that it has to be fixed.
But to the mods, by all means, delete this thread if you feel it comprimises the game. I intended this in no way to encourage cheaters, only to raise awareness.
Um, this game, via the MP, is not being ruined by cheats. Grin bears to blame for destroying the MP side. I too agree that SP looks great and is fine, but the MP, wow.

This "June patch" is becoming a legend, a gift from the gods, a prophecy that has yet to be fulfilled... it's almost scary.

We will see. I have shaken faith after the Dom mode disaster...Maybe the patch will be good enough to increase the number of MPs (tvt) from 50 (the average I've seen) into the thousands...
Where is the Patch info about LMS, Seige, etc...
What about the server issue, kick, ban, etc...
Actions speak louder then words...

'Tactical Simulation' is a made up concept. You're looking for either
A: A Tactical Shooter
B: A ground combat simulation, which outside of vehicles barely even exists.
Well, you forgot the merger of A+B = C, and by your own party admission, that would be a "Tactical Simulator!"

Aside from the servers being on the poopy side, I LOVE MP!!!!!!! Each time I play I find more and more places you can go on the maps I have never been before. Awesome GRIN just awesome!
but I'm still getting shot by people who look like they are running. Lag? or glitch?
I think the Dom mode is weak! Glad that you like it...I find it a slap in the Face to die hard (TvT) MP GR1 fans-hopefully the June patch will fix this...

I'm waiting to see if they fix this MP (tvt) issue with a June patch...I don't play games for the SP side...So there is no point to buy, as it's common knowledge that Bo and Grin really let the community down with the current MP (tvt),,, I have not heard from any one who is old school GR1 that likes Bo's Domination mode....Perhaps Bo & Grin will fix it...we will see, if they do, I will buy.
I have not faith b/c (1) it is ubi and (2) this is all the info todate we have and we're two weaks from June...
Can we expect new additions in a near future?
Ubisoft will support GRAW for a long time after release. You can already expect new additions to the MP modes in June thanks to a completely free package including Deathmatch, a map editor and new co-op missions!

Biggs, first of all, I was right in what I predicted. I said in Oct. that the game would be out in Mid 2006, at best…Here were are mid-year and the MP is still not finished!
The devs get paid to work Biggs. Part of UBI’s and their job (Grin) should have been to pay close attention to what worked before, i.e. the selling MP features of GR1 that have made it last 5 years, so they could reproduce the success!
They didn’t do this. Instead, Bo’s company left out what worked
, did a poor synergy version of BF2 and Counter Strike, which the old school GR1 crowd is displeased with. 
Sure, if you play SP, it’s very cool (I guess, I don’t play fps for SP, only Mp tvt), but the MP is dismal!You want me to “cut alittle slack†to the devs b/c they included poorly conceived features like; (1) selecting a gun you don’t have the “tactical points to buy†(2) no kick /ban (3) no bullet impact…etc…the list is long as you know.
How about they cut the MP fans some slack and give us more that one paragraph about the LMS mode and other things "to come," b/c todate, that is all the info we have on the alleged "changes to come for MP," one little paragraph. If I am wrong, please show me where UBI / Grin have addressed the June patch in specificity…Till then I like Reagan’s line “Trust, but verify.â€
I support their support of the game, i.e. patching, I just don't feel the "good faith" from UBI...and Grin doesn't work for free...Changes = CA$H

For the love of god, if i don't have the points to buy a gun then DON'T LEAVE IT AS AN OPTION! I go crazy when I take the trouble of picking a gun only to join and find i don't have enough points yet! Then why could i choose it?!?! STOP THE MADNESS!!!

) would be, and him being x-military, what a let down!I'll believe the June Patch when I see it!
My gut says they will just leave the MP ground to find another game...if they didn't care enough to develop the MP side before release, I doubt 30 days after release is going to save the MP side.

I wish Grin / Ubi would tell us when in June we can expect the upgrades for MP...It's sad that we have no word now nearly have way into May.
Bo talked so much hype about how 'great' the MP side would be (DOM mode) and now that the community does not like it, Bo seems to have "run away, run away" as Monty Python would say, instead of facing the music as it were...
I don't know what GRAW sales are like so far...But having seen a friends full version of the DOM Mode, it looks like more people still play RVS (tct) than GRAW (tvt)...WOW.
Grin turn my frown upside down and get the MP side turned around....

I’d like to know what can the MP community, meaning TvT laddering etc., (not COOP players) count on in the June Patch? I have read the MP wish list and there are some very good ideas there which are a must for GRAW to be successful for the MP community, such as kicking/ banning/, getting kitted out w/ full range of weapons (the “tactical buy†is a weak concept), LMS, SEIGE, more maps…
But what official comment have we from Grin / Ubi? I have little faith at this point in anything UBI says, and Grin, well they made a nice FPS for one who likes the AI computer v. human, but at present, the MP features are not worthy of GR1…maybe Grin’s proximity to the Article Circle caused this horrible MP effect???
I’d just like to have some frame of reference as to what to expect in June…

I wish someone would tell me what have Girn/Ubi promised in their june patch... so far I don't know what to expect, other than an improved game version of DOM mode, which frankly isn't saying much.

I think it's great! I played on the servers alot this weekend. Man I love the game play and the tacticle feel.
Which means I can sneak around with my rifle picking the enemy off. I love that stuff.
Oh you like not having all the choices of weapons, and "buying" upgrades with tactical points, although you claim to liek "tacticle feel", good for you, you must be playing with another item...

The current MP mode is, well, POOP. Triumph the Insult Comic Dog must have been a consultant for Bo/GRIN cause wow, it stinks! (SP is nice GRIN/BO, if that is your game)
1-its like bf2 + counter strike = POOP
2-buying weapons? Please how about we get to gear up first, um, we did for the blasted game, I'd like to use all the options paid for...
3-What is up with the server situation?
4-No gimping, or shot impact notice? Very realistic Bo...right.
5-No throwing of Gernades while even walking?
6-Bo's hype about a great MP experience is like UBI telling us back in Nov. that they were "excited about the delay"...this is as run and gun as it gets without bunny hopping!
7-Give us the option to KIT-OUT as we would in SP...
8-Give us LSM and Seige and Hamburger Hill...

Well, that preference is clearly because your named after a mind altering drug. I like the Old school RVS and GR1 MP MUCH MORE than DOM,,,it's very BF2+Counter Strike = poopy GRAW MP.

Lose the "buy" option, we all have paid to play the game once, I dont like being restricted from the start!
Leave DOM mode to BF2-
Give us LMS, Hamburger hill etc...
AND LET US CHOOSE OUR WEAPONS! Forget earning the "right."

Grin did a nice job for SP, but for the MP crowd, wow, they really screwed the pooch!
It's like Ubi's "letdown" for GRAW MP.
The MP side, at present, forces me to ponder just how much MP thought, attention and energy went into this side of the game...If they [Grin] don't address the MP issues successfully in the Patch (assuming patch does come) this game will have zero shelf-live...
