  1. GRIN has shown true talent for military fps. They may miss a few things here and there, but GRAW1 and 2 have both been fantastic shooters and a pleasure to play for the most part.

I really hope you guys continue your "relationship" with the military genre, you know how it should be done and I'm sure you have the support of the entire GR.net community.

I hope your next game (whether it be another Ghost Recon game or not) is a success.

  2. I know this might be a long straw, but is there any chance for new content, like the Xbox360 version, hitting the PC ? In terms of new weaponry, map packs, different player models...stuff like that ?

I'm pretty sure I know the answer ("No") but I thought it might be worth asking.

Either way, great stuff so far GRIN, really enjoying it, except for when my team mates are stuck on a building or on each other and can't manoeuvre the battlefield, or lack of different optics for the rifles and light machine guns.

If this has already been brought up, sorry, just delete this.

(I guess it's also dependent on length of support as well)

  3. Ah, my prayers have been answered !!

Brettzies and SnowFella back in action. :D

Looking forward to your work fellas, keep it up !

EDIT: Just a quick question, is it possible to get the EOTech on anything else, like the Mk.46 and M14 ? Or is the same issue still present from GRAW 1 ?

  4. replace the Zeus with a reloadable AT weapon like in [GR], why incorporate a feature into the game that does not work properly if at all).

The weapon in GR or GR1 (it's not called [GR]) is a flaw, the AT4 isn't reloadable. I don't know any reloadable light AT weapon used by US forced today, or that are in development, but there may be some if you search the net.

The Carl Gustav comes to mind but it's not that light in itself because it's built to take more then 1 round being fired, and extra ammo is heavy to carry. And as at least GRAW1 has a weight system that would leave one team member designated with that weapon and some light secondary weapon like an MP5. Not sure if I would prefer that to giving each team member a Zeus. So lighter AT weapon would be needed for a good implementation.

only reloadable anti-tank round I can think of is the Javelin. AT4 is a fire and forget system. drop the emtpy tube and go. but the army taught us that the enemy can use those used tubes to make mortar guns. so destroy them first!

SMAW. ;) I believe also the M72 LAW was making a comeback aswell. Remanufactered/updated.

Looking good GRIN. Keep up the good work !

  5. While I'm sure the amount of weapons available to them is quite significant, they will use the weapons that give them the greatest flexability/lethality/interoperability and that which is fully supported logistically. The M4 has that, and if SOCOM decides to purchase more HK416 uppers they will have an even better system to go to battle with.

  6. Despite the fact that they have a preview up, it appears they have conveniently missed any new content not supplied by Ubi (I wouldn't be suprised if those screenshots were actually supplied or vetted by Ubi for NDA purposes). Those screenshots, although varied in showing a few new locations from the Beta map do not really show too much in terms of content, some things did slip however...

  7. Pic 4:

Mr. Andersson himself. Can someone identify the rifle?

    And that's it. Thank you...

EDIT: A lot of editing, sorry about that.

    Is that Rx4, like this?

    true gun:

    rx412ae323jk1.jpg

Or.. maybe..that seems more like a FNC?..

Who's idea was it to put that Rx4 rifle in the game ? :wall::wall::wall::rolleyes:

  8. What ladder? All I see is what looks similar to a ladder somewhat laying down that you just use like stairs. Or am I just blind?

I didn't see a ladder, it just made me realize how nice it would be to be able to climb ladders for multi-level maps :)

    The M-8 is back....

...too bad, I was hoping that would die off with GR:AW.

I'm glad it's back, not only because I like the M8, but because it's one more weapon to add to the roster (besides, since the animations, model, and texture are already done, it makes sense that it would stay).

The support list/roster shown in pic #1 is different (more features), and it would appear as though Ramirez has been re-incarnated.

Is that a "technical" in the upper left of pic #2?

Looking at pic #4 raises the question; Who built the wall, Mexico or the U.S.? Whee!

Not sure if I saw this for one of the PC tidbits, but I thought that we'll be able to select which operatives to bring along in missions now? I'm hoping to see some like Ramiraz, Burke, and a few others.

I'm sorry, it makes NO SENSE. This rifle was ditched. I know you know it, and everybody else knows it, perhaps except for GRIN who continue to include a rifle that will NOT see service in the US Army.

GET RID OF IT AND INCLUDE WHAT WE HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR SINCE GRAW.... M16/M4 !!!!! pwease???
