  1. Hmmm. I remember that mod. It was fun. Isn't that what its all about in the end.

Perhaps for the sake of acceptance they might produce something clean and nice. The Modheads might just surprise you. Its a new game and a new time lets just get on with rippin some tangos till the mod tools are released. I expect my clanmate NGRU Crazy1 and I will mod some interesting coop mods.

Tip of the Hat to Raven (A modding Yoda of GR1 for you new guys) Glad your still around. Your insight to the mod tools will surely be appreciated by all.:clapping:

  2. My understanding is that Bo will be able to answer many of these question related to coop and all of MP "any day now."  At the moment, I think we are expecting MP COOP to be limited to playing the SP missions with up to 4 players in coop.

FOUR? Only four? Please tell me this is a bad joke. :please:

  3. Well, its sad but true.

UBI totaly left us who made the game popular sitting at the dance by making console play its only concern for the sake of making more money. Thats a fact!! Anyone who debates it is either living on another planet or works for UBI so dont even try to sell me a painted horse. Im not buying. :guns:

Lets just get this one out so guys like me will finally shut up.

  4. Please give all seeing eye support... That is all we need.  ubi lobbies have always been buggy and still cannot have chat due to being hacked.

ASE (All seeing eye) is a great program! I have been using it for years.:yes:

IP to IP is a must!!

Being forced to play at certian locations is a prelude to "pay to play" A scourge in the game world that need to be stopped!! :FIREdevil:

  5. We have two nice examples of Air ( F15) Support in 1up video. First think that i noticed after watching vid was superb sound effect of jet pasing by after bombardment i love it !

Second thing that i noticed was that during first bombardment we are about 10-15 meters away from bomb site and it made me wonder.... was it recorded in god mode ? If not ....   ( I almost can see Bo reading this and thinkig "OMG this guy again ?!  :wall:  " ;) ) second thing i noticed was very short time between Call for air support and bomb impact, it is ~10 seconds in both cases. 10 sec is approximately time that guided bomb need to come down , but jet need some time to get over the targed and to settle bombrun . I undestand this is made this way to make gameplay faster ( and teenager friendly) etc but still, i think the time gap between call for support and bombardment should be at least 1 min ( it is to fast too but a bit realistic).

I wonder how other two ( Apache and Artillery) types of support works in the game ?

    - Does Apache use Hellfires or only minigun ?

    - Is time gap between call for support and arrival same for every type of support fire ?

    - Can we call for support anytime during the mission ( when this support is available of course) or can we only call for support only on certain objects ( like vehicles ) ? For an example, Can we call for F15 to drop a bomb on position of 2-3 Mexican soldiers which pined us down ?

    Thx & Sorry  :P

    Good question Joseph_Q.

I have seen the hellfires in the vids so I know thats there.

Since this is set in an ongoing mission I expect the attack time to be pretty small.

I would hope 3 mere Mexicans would be no match considering the are up against the U.S. Support fire ought to be limited to how much and how often it is used.

  6. No disrespect intended. I assure you. Bo Rocks!

As a player who had GR1 the day it came out and a modder you must take into account there will be millions of new ideas coming into play. Modders will re do, re make, and invent to keep the life of the game going. With Battlefield 1 some friends came up with a little mod called Desert Combat. 80% of those who still play do it with that mod. Myself included. :) They played a major part in BF2.

To me the game is just a base. The players decide where it goes in a way. They get tired of seeing the same thing. So we make new maps, game types, weps etc.. Eventually a mod group or a clan make their mod. Say with =SEALS= they did some really great stuff. Lotta peeps played their mods. Guys like Harntrox pushed the coop play way over what the originators set. My good friend NGRU Crazy 1 went and took maps that had poor scripting (these guys make maps not script) and scripted them into some of the best coop play I have ever seen. With 130 AI all in elite mode you better have your stuff tight or you wont last! 10mm was a great mapper, not a scripter. Everyone does what the are good at and the game just gets better.

Give me 20 good men with talent and motivation and Ill give you a better game.

You just have to have a ear to what the elite players want to fire up in the game-play.

It's all good man. We share the info, the game gets better, UBI make more money and we do it just for the fun of it.

I have great hopes for this, get ready for a nice ride!

  7. Note to self;

Create a CQB mod asap with doors and make the map NOT in Mexico. :nono:

Create some jungle maps. Theres a lot of that in southern mexico.

Create a Nuke explosion for destroying the city and map a rubble version.

Prepare the gun crew to adjust the usual weak weps.

Prepare to mod some realism into the game. aka Blood and guts  I want a 50 cal sniper hit to remove the head and leave a bloody splash on the wall.

Americans like blood. I'm NOT politically correct and could care less.

Add mines and claymores... more blood and guts..lol

Pay no attention to people who say there are rules in modding.

Why no Civilian's???? Totaly stupid and un realistic. It will add to game play types and realisim.

Bo has done a good job but I expect modders to do a better job as evident in GR1. Modders are sick and twisted and we like it that way. After 2 years 90% of online game play was modded.

Thanks to GRIN for NO #%&! BUNNY HOPPERS!!!! :D:D:D I would not have paid for another Counterstrike pile of crap.

  8. Well I was reading the London GRAW interview and the like and they remarked that there would be no doors. Kinda depressing.. I used to spend hours in tactical coop mode with friends doing CQB. Always modding the maps to be harder and a bit more random. Its sad.

So am I to take it all buildings are hollow? Tell me this isnt so. :( There goes rooftop sniping and rpg attacks. sniff...sniff...

One thing it didnt cover, the evil satanic bunny hoppers!!! This one thing can make or break a game for me. Im planning on modding a no jump zone if I can find a way to do it. Allowing jumping only in zones where needed for entry or exit from a rise or a window for example. If its gonna be like counterstrike aka counter hack..lol.. Ill dump it in with the rest of the wack stuff.:tumbleweed:
