- We have been gaming for a good solid 10 years now. Yes we have under gone a few name changes and roster changes but in 10 years what would you expect? From the Delta Force series, to the Battlefield series, to the COD series, to the MOH series, to even a few MMO's we have played them all. There is not an FPS that we have not at least tried.

- Why am I posting this?

- The Why is simple. There is a new game. GR:AW that is coming out in roughly a month. =LAF= has been very successful in BF2 for a long time now, but the game is running dry. Everything has been wiped clean. The forums-pruned, the site-cleared, and a brand new Ventrilo server (TS sucked lol). We have it all:

I just bought GRAW, but I've owned Ghost Recon and Ghost Recon 2.

I am in the US Army Infantry.

I don't care how totally awesome or "leet" your clan is. I'm looking for a clan that works as a structured unit. If you usually split up and go in different directions, or as a matter of fact if anyone ever goes his own way alone in the game, I probably won't be interested.

I'd be willing to teach your clan the basics of how to operate as a squad and be effective.

I don't have a headset currently, but I'll probably get one this coming weekend.

WHAT IS SHADOW COMPANY ELITE?

Wearing a Team TAG or being tied to a clan has at times been something people would rather do without. For some, it feels like a marriage. Some squads have to deal with unnecessary power struggles. Some require payments and use military ranking systems. SHADOW COMPANY ELITE is more laid back in that we would like to hang together regularly to play various games from America's Army, Battlefield 2142, and GR:AW to S.W.A.T., Madden 07 & Need For Speed Carbon. Relieving stress by playing these games is what we are all about. NO COST TO PLAY with SCE & No Ranking/Military Systems. Some people don't join a squad because if for some reason they decide it wasn't for them they don't feel right wanting to leave. We at SCE completely understand and although we would rather you hang or take a break for a while, removing a tag or joining another squad is completely fine. Enjoy your stay while your with us...

Joining SCE offers maximum benefits by learning how a healthy squad functions each day. We have been around for over 9 years and hang mainly with an adult like atmoshpere. MISSION STATEMENT

• Continue to recruit players: By adding players to SCE it keeps us as a group enjoying the company and teamwork when playing the games we are involved with. Because of this we will continue to look for players to add in to increase the fun we have.
  
• Continue to build lasting relationships: Online friends is something we try to be very careful about because you never truly know who you are interacting with. We will continue to enjoy each other's company and as time progresses those relationships will continue to build over time.
  
• Continue to make fun, tactical maps: Our staff of map makers will work on maps as time allows and in the map making comes ideas on how to make them tactical for training and overall just enjoy a good map. This is something we will continue to focus on to make the game better for us all.
  
• Match against teams as time allows: Each week when time allows, SCE will be looking to setup scrimmages and matches. Just something to throw into the mix of what we do.
  
• Discuss and enjoy other fun games: Many of us enjoy other online pc games and even the occasional console game. Our forums and teamspeak is used frequently to discuss other games and that keeps our community discussions active and healthy.
  
• Most of all, relax & have a good time: In a nutshell, this is the most important reason for wearing an SCE tag. Many of us have families and want to sit down, relax, and play some multiplayer pc games. Not a day or night goes by where we find ourselves laughing hysterically about something we say or do.
  

INITIATIVES

• League/Ladder Initiatives: SCE_FATMAN has taken the role of Tournament Director for GR:AW at PRO GAMING LEAGUES. Match specifications encompassing all server settings for GR:AW and variations for match settings were part of the goal to bring GRAW competition to a fun level. This gets squads to hang with each other and build good relationships. Forums have been put into place to offer opportunities in other games as well. If there is a game you want to see matches in PGL is the place to go and voice your interests. This was backed up 100% by SHADOW COMPANY ELITE.
  
• Help Within: Some folks have had some needs within the squad whether it be advice, computer parts, etc. The relationships we have are simple. Trust is built and as the saying goes... One blessing deserves another. Some of the members here at SCE have surpsised us by things that they have done in the past to help out.
  
• Custom Map Making/Modding, Etc: Speaking for GR:AW and Joint Operations Typhoon Rising there has been a following of people interested in the realm of modding and custom map making. We have 3 genuine map makers working each week on either new maps, improving old maps, or providing advice to others looking for ideas or help. Visit our map making forums and see, although most conversations have taken place on our teamspeak server.
  
• Recruiting: In just about every game we support in our game room forums, SCE is constantly looking for players to talk about the games as well as hook up with our tags. Being an adult squad (many of us have families) we would like to keep the over 18 as part of our requirement. Feel free to get information about our Teamspeak channel, log on, and chat for a while. If you have questions on joining or would like to be considered, visit our Join Us forum and let us know.
  
• Matching: Matching is not a requirement. If matching is your thing, great! If you aren't sure or want to try it - welcome to SCE. What works for you, works for us as well. Matching entertains the tightness of a group of players working together for a common goal. Win or lose, we do it together to have fun.
  
• Server Stats: We decided to purchase our own stats tracker for the community. It measures stats for players who enjoy playing on our server. Some folks use stats for themselves, some use them to see how well they progress. In either case it is there for you.

Ladder Availability:

- EU GR:AW - 1v1 Last Man Standing Ladder

For those lone wolf types without a current clan or those already in a clan looking to show off their GR:AW skills, the 1v1 Last Man Standing ladder is all about bragging rights & individual skill.

- EU GR:AW - 2v2 Last Team Standing Ladder

For those new clans just starting out or for larger clans who want to encourage team work within their ranks, the 2v2 ladder allows for teams upto a max of 5 players on a roster to compete in a structured match play environment.

- EU GR:AW - 5v5 Last Team Standing Ladder

This 5v5 is the main ladder for scheduled & structured competitive match play. Allowing large clans a chance to show their skills on the battlefield. There is no max roster limit for the 5v5 & clans are welcome to create multiple 'squads' on the ladder if they have a large team base.

- EU GR:AW - Power Ladder

Also known as the 'Pick-up Game Ladder', 'PCW Ladder', 'Scrimmage Ladder', depending on where your from.

The Power Ladder concept allows teams to quickly make un-scheduled matches/challenges & play games on the spur of the moment. Teams are free to make up their own rules for the match & are given the opportunity to discuss & agree terms in private match comms & once the match is played, they can then report the results on the site & their points are adjusted based on win/loss. (Max 5 maps can be reported.)

A modified verison on the ELO points ranking system is used - each team starting with 1000 points on an even playing field, and then points are calculated based on your current points & win/loss status.

How does the scoring (Ratings) work?

Points are based on the differential betwen your rank and your opponent. From that number we apply a modifier based on the number of teams on the ladder.

WinnerRating = WinnerRating + (LoserRating * (TeamsOnLadder / 2) / WinnerRating)

LoserRating = LoserRating - (LoserRating * (TeamsOnLadder / 2) / WinnerRating)

Multiple challenges may be made & you can challenge any team on the ladder. Teams are also free to decline challenges too.

[RS], The Rogue Saints, are recruiting mature, team minded, dedicated individuals for our Ghost Recon: AW Team. [RS] is an established clan. We have been around since May of 2002, starting out with the [Ghost Recon] PC game and eventually growing from there. We are also currently playing Battlefield 2, Raven Shield, and the [Ghost Recon]. The Rogue Saints also hope to progress to R6: Lockdown in the near future.

We are well known within the gaming communities we play. We take pride in the fact that we are a mature and close-knit group of dedicated team and tactical minded gamers. Our principles (Honor, Teamwork, and Dedication) have been successful in creating a fun, and effective, gaming environment. We have been successful in Ghost Recon, Battlefield 2, and Raven Shield, by getting top results in the ladders and tournaments we play in.
