So about a year and a half ago I started painting with cheap acrylics. Now its kind of spiraled out of control. Just wanted to share some of the fun I've been having with it and some of the things I've done.

Apparently you can paint your clothes too. Who knew.

I'm almost embarrised to post this in the same forum as some of Hammer's awesome photos, but considering this was taken with a moving target, on the handle of my car and me crouching shooting upwards, with a simply sony cybershot compact, it's pretty good! You can even see the hairs, just a pity the focus didn't end up the the eyes, still, no bad!

Oh well, sorry for a surely stupid question and WHATEVER

I've recently downloaded Photoshop Lightroom trial to a video project, i soon will make.

I tried to edit a photo with soldiers, and tried to make this on the soldiers, just for fun:

The mask on their faces. But i don't know how to do! + i wan't to learn how to paint on pictures in that editor (photoshop lightroom) !!! Like maybe adding blod? Oh, lastly, how can i add other pictures on another picture? Like copy a blood picture and insert it on a soldiers hand on another picture?

okay so, i thought it might benefit, not only me but other users who want to get into Photography as a hobby.

i figured out something on one of my photos which looked to be overexposed. to an extent it was, it had the flash on when it didn't need it. so i need to remember to check my flash before moving on to take the photo.

anyway. any tips and tricks for photography WHATSOEVER, post here

just be aware that not everyone has a Digital SLR so, try and keep the tips working for all cameras where possible

my first tip is above, if you dont need flash, turn it off. and camera flash and glass dont mix

hello

need help/tips on some coming trip to Atlanta Georgia

gonna try to take dusk/night pictures at the Olympic Centennial Park, like this with my Nikon D3000

and the Shark Whale at the Aquarium

I'm bringing my cheap tripod and cheap remote...it's nothing serious/get paid kinda a pictures...

but could really use some tips

Excessive Noise in Camera RAW?

is it normal to get noise in camera RAW on ISO 400 when exposed to high light levels?

Looking at the JPEG it's been smoothed out and the noise has been removed, but it's a worry if the noise isn't meant to be there.

It is happening when the drive mode is Continuous shoot @ 6fps and the particular image i am about to show is at 1/1250th of a second.

it's happened on most others too

sorry, didn't know where to put it, so i jus went with gut instinct and placed it here.

The tour was pulled by the BR Class 7MT 4-6-2 Steam Locomotive 70013 "Oliver Cromwell"

with a Class 37 diesel-electric 37676 "Loch Rannoch" being pulled on the back (just in case of any technical difficulties)
