Car repair bills
I've had the same BMW for about 7 years now, so I am used to the servicing bills. I get it serviced at the official BMW dealership because they are thorough and if they make a mistake (like they do), they do tend to react positively to my complaint, unlike a back street garage that might be more inclined to give me the run around. When it went in for it's oil service recently I got them to replace a smashed fog lamp lense while it was in. I priced the lens and knew it was £40, and guessed that fitting it would probably be about the same again. Ontop of the oil service I had a good idea what the invoice would be.When it dropped through the letter box a few weeks later though, there were two entries on the invoice, and the total was alot more than I expected. Beacuse the invoice wasn't detailed, I had to go in and ask them why there were two entries and why it was so much more than I thought. Mistakes happen, maybe they charged me for a full fog lamp instead of just the lens, or maybe the oil service was billed twice. They took a look and called it up on the PC."Ah, that first entry on the invoice...""yes.....""It's for work done last year you still haven't paid.""oh, okay. Visa okay?" ![]()
