      Spot on, Lightspeed! I didn't notice the new option until I came here and saw your post a few days ago.  Since then, a friend and I having been playing the Silent Reach mission exclusively. And you're right. I haven't seen anything that resembles OGR like this does. Can't wait till they develop some more missions for their Operations game mode. When they do, if the word gets out, maybe some clans will incorporate GB into their lineup. Hopefully, they'll free up some settings like difficulty and mission timer. They did some incredible work with the sunrise effects in this mission...

      Yes, the game is very polished. My only jab is that I feel the game has an identity crisis. In SWAT 4, the goal was to use everything at your disposal to minimize excessive use of force and to arrest the perps. In RoN, the perps seem to always come out guns-a-blazing thereby reducing this aspect of the game that was the heart and soul of SWAT 4: getting perps to comply. As is, you seem to constantly be in gun battles. If I wanted gun battles, I wouldn't launch RoN. I'd play Sandstorm, Ground Branch, or Six Days in Fallujah. All of which I highly recommended depending on your desire for "realism".  I will get back to RoN and keep trying to arrest perps. It's a very well-made game and a lot of fun.

      Cheers for the info! I'll be sure to check it out. IIRC, Veteran difficulty (the middle one) was stated by the creator of the mod to be the only difficulty the mod was designed around. I believe that was in the guide for the mod. So glad to hear we're talking about the same experience here.

      I am still around! I actually stopped playing short afterwards due to... well, a lot of issues, but am picking it up again, and was doing research, and managed to end up back here again years later. Haha. Man, I'm still pretty confused about why things ended up the way they are. I know it might not always be the most realistic option, but you know, it would have been nice to have the mod give the option to give all weapons a scope. But hey, limitations and all. I get it. Still, happy to get answers for this. Cheers!
