This software is very easy to use.
First thing you have to do is to select the auto-update frequency, namely
- Off
- Hourly
- Daily
- Weekly
Next you have to specify wether or not you wish to use the auto-detected
directory or a manually selected directory. When selecting the directory
manually make sure you choose the right one, otherwise it will not function
properly.
If you are running this software on a PC/Server where no GR:AW is
installed or for raesons it cannot find the installation then you will be
prompted to manually select a directory and you will also see that the
"Manually Update Banlist" button and the "Use auto-detected directory (Recommended)"
radiobutton are disabled should it not find the GR:AW installation.
After you are done just keep the program running to keep having it automatically
update your PC/Server Banlist.
You will notice the appearance of a new icon in the system tray of the computer
running it.
There is three options there:
"Show ..." : This will Show the form on the desktop.
"Hide ..." : This will hide the form from the desktop.
"Exit ..." : This will terminate the application.
In order for the updated banlist to take effect the SADS needs to be completely shut down
and started back up. This is not because of my software but because of how GR:AW currently
functions.
Uninstalling can be easily done through the configuration screen.
