Rahnmans_coop_kits_GodMode Hello Ghosts, For quite some time now I have been doing beta testing for coop map makers. Before they release a map they want to test it for errors to make sure that it is ready. In order to shorten the time it takes me to test a map I use "God Mode". It was programmed into the game and was used for debugging. It gives unlimited ammo and health. It can also give me speed if I want it (which I will tell you how to do). By using this debugger I have the freedom to concentrate on various different elements in a mission w/o having to deal with the aggravation of getting killed all the time. It comes in quite handy. Through the course of time I have had several other beta testers ask for a copy of my files and am now receiving requests from beginner players as well. So I decided that it might be a good idea to put together a seperate GodMode mod. This mod is the same as my v4.01 mod with the addition of the GodMode files. So you will still have the choice of all the weapons/weapons kits. This mod works for both coop and campaign styles of play. It is intended for solo play (by yourself). You cannot run this mod and log onto a coop server that is running my 4.01 mod. Since it is installed as a local folder override you cannot try and use it to log onto any multiplayer server (tdm, seige, hh etc.) since it will be detected by the game's anti-cheat. In other words, this mod cannot be used in any way to Cheat against other players. It can only be used for what it was intended for which is as a trainer for coop and campaign play. Campaign: For campaign play it is important to start fresh with a new mission (and maybe a new campaign). If you try to run this mod and "continue" a mission that you have already started w/o using the mod then the game will either crash or retain the settings that you had when you started the mission (i.e. you can still be killed). The best way to clear any missions that you have played is to follow this filepath: Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter 2/Settings/Profiles/"your profile"/saved games and then delete the saved files. OR you can run the game without this mod and then die, select the restart from a previous save option and then delete the files individually. Once you have deleted all the files for your "unfinished" mission then close out the game and restart using this mod. Any previous missions that you have completed should be fine since they should be "unlocked" and you can play them from the start anytime you want. Keep in mind that the opposite is also true. If you start a mission with this mod you should finish it with this mod and not try to finish it with the regular weapons/non-GodMode since it will probably crash the game. Note: If you are savvy enough you can copy the "saved games" folder in a seperate place on your computer and then delete the file contents of the original file. That way you can paste all the save points back in if you want to pick up where you left off with the regular weapons. Coop: You can use this mod for coop as well. The only change I have made from the original coop settings is to add the enemy tagging system. When you see an enemy he will be lit up by a red diamond. This will make it easier for new players to see and take out enemies and will be familiar since it is similar to the campaign settings. If you are not familiar with how to play coop then visit ghostrecon.net. They have many forum discussions on this topic and there are over 175 missions that can be played. Multiplayer Use (Please read all of this): YOU CANNOT USE THIS MOD FOR MULTI-PLAYER!! In fact, since this is a local folder override you will not be able to log onto any coop/tdm/hh etc. server even if you run the game w/o the mod. If you have ANY files in your local folder then the games anticheat will not allow you to enter a multi-player server. The cure for this is to change the name of your local folder. Go to your GRAW2 folder and right click on the "Local" folder, select "rename" and then change the name of the folder. I usually call it something like "Local_REAL" or "Local_1". The game will not recognize this folder and will ignore it. Then start the game using the regular weapons (using the GRAW2 shortcut on your desktop) and you should have no trouble logging onto a multi-player server. If you want to run this mod again you will have to go back and change the name of the folder to "Local" again and then run the mod. If you do not play multi-player games on gamespy then this whole paragraph can be ignored. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: When you download this mod you will have 3 files. 1) Folder named "rahnmans_coop_kits_GodMode" (Place this inside your "Local" folder) 2) xml file named "context_rahnmans_coop_kits_GodMode" (Place this inside your GRAW2 folder) 3) batch file named "Rahnmans_MOD_GodMode" (Place this inside your GRAW2 folder) Go to your GRAW2 file .... I have windows 7 64 bit so .... Click on "Computer" link on my desktop or from the start menu .... Local Disk (C:)/Program files (x "your number")/UBISOFT/Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 Inside your GRAW2 folder place files 2 and 3. Open the "Local" folder and place file 1 into it. Go back to your GRAW2 folder Find file number 3 (batch file named "Rahnmans_MOD_GodMode") RIGHT click on it Select "create shortcut" Allow the computer to create the shortcut on your desktop. Close out of your GRAW2 folder and go to the desktop. Double click on the new shortcut you have created to run the mod. ENJOY! If you want to run the regular weapons and play w/o GodMode then simply run the game from the standard Graw2 link on your desktop. If you want to play my mod with all of the weapons/weapons kits but do not want the GodMode feature then you can download my mod "Rahnmans Weapons Mod" from ghostrecon.net. That is all there is to it!! For those of you who want to use the SPEED option then you can increase your speed by using the following filepath: GRAW2/Local/Rahnmans_coop_kits_GodMode/sb_templates/global RIGHT click on the "sb_global"xml file and select "edit" Scroll down until you see these lines: Then change the number from "1.1" to something like "5" SAVE the changes and then exit to your desktop. Oh yeah, DON'T SCREW UP! LOL! (only change the number, leave the parenthasis in place.) Run the mod and you should be lightning fast. This really helps with debugging new missions since you can run right to the trigger you want to test w/o having to work your way through all the AI. All in all a pretty handy thing to have at your disposal. It doesn't work to well when you are just playing the game, however, and that is why I set it to normal speed (or thereabouts). If you go zipping through the map then you will hit all the triggers and spawn all the bots and probably have lots of lag. Cheers, Rahn |

Well done Rahn......that will please the newcomers to the game. Nice to see you made it local folder override to prevent cheating in a real game. Personally, I think all they need to use is you co-op kits anyway as they are enough for anyone...lol. |

OK,... DOING A GOD MODE FOR GRAW 2 ITS THE EASYES THINGS IN THE WORLD,...if you really want to gain the respect of the community of GHOSTRECON players world wide,...try your self to do the same but for,....graw 1(mexico city),....AT THE MOMENT HAVENT SEEN ANY GOD MODE FOR GRAW 1(MEXICO CITY) OR JUST GRAW,...,..I MEAN ONE THAT REALLY WORKS FOR COOP CUSTOM MAPS,....not for the campaing*(single player,...there is a trainer already that works for campaing),..but to play the custom mod maps on COOP(did some one have tryed THE PAVILION in lonewolf,....its hard as HELL.,... IF YOU,..,..NOW YOU UNDERSTAND WHY FOR TEST ING PURPOSES AND TO PLAY IT ON LONEWOLF SPECIALLY FOR NEW PLAYERS,..THIS IS A GREAT NEED,..OTHERWAY,..MANY POSSIBLE NEW PLAYER,...WILL ABANDONE THE GHOSTRECON COMMUNITY,....(Specially if they just HAVE play the worst ghostrecon version*(FUTURE SOLDIER) WELL Rahn.....hope to see soon,..YOU ACOMPLISH THIS MISSION,....(TO CREATE A God Mode for GRAW(GRAW 1,..THE ONE WITH MEXICO CITY),...
