::::::::::GHOST RECON REALISM ENHANCER:::::::::: This mod gives you a more realistic Ghost Recon experience and gives a whole new feel to the game.
:::SUMMARY::: Projectiles have larger blast radii.
Headshots are more effective and leg/arm wounds are rarely fatal.
The FN-FAL is completely upgraded and its quality now matches its real-life counterpart.
All sniper rifles are less accurate standing and crouched, but stabilization time is much shorter.
Grenade launchers feature accurate sights that allow precise shots.
The grenade launcher for the OICW is much less effective and now uses the correct 5-round magazine.
Previously ineffective weapons like the Groza, A91, and Bizon are more powerful and accurate.
Light machine guns are much less accurate and take longer to aim, but those with bipods are extremely effective for suppressive fire when prone.
The OICW is no longer a superpower, and is flawed in the same ways as its real-life counterpart.
Zoom on pistols, submachine guns, and other weapons with iron-sights is decreased.
Submachine guns are much more useful in close-quarters.
Changes to the standard kits allow you to carry more demo charges and more ammunition for machine guns.
Three quick-missions have been added for singleplayer and multiplayer co-op play.
Kill-confirmation voices have been removed.
All in-game red text has been removed, including quick-save notifications and kill confirmations.
Weapons are now displayed with their correct real-life names.
The threat indicator is replaced with a compass.

Is it possible that one of you could make a video about this mod ingame?

Sure, if you'd like, I could make a short video showing some of the features.

The demo charge isn't a C4, it's a SLAM (Selectable Lightweight Attack Munition).
The Bizon isn't supposed to have a burst fire mode.
I don't know why you reduced the mag size of the MP5SD2 to 15 when it looks to have the same magazine as the MP5A2. Also, the MP5 icons are inconsistent with the model, perhaps you could fix that.
The frag isn't actually a M67, it's an M26. The HUD icon (M67) is inconsistent with the model used in the game (M26). Maybe you could correct the icon and name.
I've only looked over this mod a few minutes so read this to know about more of the inconsistencies in GR and in your mod that you could address:

Oh and it would be nice if you could replace the threat indicator with a compass (that actually works, unlike in some mods).

Anonymous,
My goal in this mod was specifically to increase the damage accordingly to the real life power of each weapon, and also increase the realism of certain weapons by, for example, giving handguns a slight zoom to simulate aiming down the sights. I did not give the Bizon the three-round capability, but thank you for noting this, as in the next patch I release this will be fixed. According to the RSE files within the game, the grenade is an M67, and I thought that the game developers would know what grenade they were using, however, I may have been wrong. Unfortunately, I do not have Photoshop or any suitable program that can save files as .rsbs, so I cannot change the default kit icons. It appears that you are much more knowlegable about modern weaponry, so perhaps you would be interested in releasing a realism mod yourself sometime.
Regards,

"it is fair and square on the battlefield. If you use quicksaving, you aren't a soldier; you're a coward." Lol, shut up, it's a game.

Hey lol
I dont think i got that? I mean its a game yes, but its fun to play games that is realistic and if you dont quicksave you are giving yourself a challenge, also, i think you should read what he also said about quicksaves, and stop posting things like ''shut up'' in the download section.

Download entry has been updated to v1.2. Please download the entire mod again, delete the old version, and install the new mod to patch to the second version.
Thanks.
