I was honoured to be invited to observe on the opening games of Alpha Squad’s Stealth Recon 2003 Tournament last night. After a moments silence at the start of each game out of respect for =SEALZ= Geordie and the Columbia’s seven astronauts the teams got down to business. It was great viewing, the two teams I watched were awesome in their approach to the mission – it was like watching a film as the mission unfolded and the squads reacted to each development. The level of organisation from Alpha Squad was very impressive and I would not hesitate to recommend that Ghost Recon fans join in on these CO-OP tournaments no matter what your level of experience. Keep up with the Tournament at the Alpha Squad forums, where they plan on recounting each attempt in narrative with images as the competition progresses.
