Designingsound.org have been running a Audio Implementation Greats series and in the current article turn their focus on Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2.

As to be expected from a website that specialises in sound, the article goes into great detail on the mechanics of game sound. Focusing on the Dynamic Wind System of GRAW2, Jeff Wesevich and Justin Drust explain just how they managed to capture the 2008 GANG “Innovation in Audio” award for the GRAW2 Multiplayer implementation of an audio system.
