So what's Jessica Simpson doing on the front page of GhostRecon.net (as if we needed an excuse)?

Well, her picture is on the front page of TeenPeople.com, whose Teen Choice 2006 award show is airing live on Fox next month, with Jessica as co-host.

Why is this of interest? Because Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter has been nominated in the Teen Choice 2006 : Video Game category! The bad news is, in order to vote, you have to be a teenager, that probably rules out about 80% of our members here. But hey - it was worth mentioning for the link action - enjoy!

Due to our GDC guru taking an unexpected vacation (Mexican prison?) we're reopening the Sig Award Contest for session 27! Lower key than the full blown Graphic Design contests of late, but still award-winning. The current theme is "As Time Goes By".

Improvise, design, splat emotions onto paper, whatever works for you, but keep it within the forum rules, get it in before August 6, and get a chance at fame, fortune, well, neither of those, but a nifty special award image for the best interpretation.
