Sixpence Interview
Posted by Rocky on Wednesday, September 29 2004

Giwex has just finished interviewing one of the names that will go down in Ghost Recon history as a top contributor to the community - Sixpence.

"First of all, I have an idea for a Story, or more often … a Unit. I think, the Story you want to tell (for a Mission campaign) is the most important part. Usually I think about the Story for a few weeks and put it down on paper.  … Next I search the Maps. "

Read this interesting interview here, which also lists all of Sixpence's mods.

We have 2 full licenses for game movie making software Fraps to give away this month! For anyone who is not sure what Fraps can do I made a 14Mb movie showing captures from various games, you can download that here. Fraps also has screen capture and FPS benchmarking options in addition to real-time video capture. There are lots of hi-res examples at the Fraps Website.

One copy of Fraps is up for grabs for any visitor to any of my sites (no country limitations!), and the other copy is going to be awarded to a randomly selected GR.net Supporter.

To get your name in the draw and stand a chance of winning a fully featured registered version of Fraps with lifetime upgrades, simply mail me at Rocky@ghostrecon.net and put the version number of the Fraps release dated 9th of September in the e-mail subject line (hint : check the Fraps news page). If you are a forum member please put your forum ID in the email message, thanks! The draw will be held on the 1st of October, good luck!
