Merry Christmas! Posted by Rocky on Saturday, December 24 2005
On the first day of 2006 we'll look back at the highlights of 2005. We'll also be promoting the forum awards, your chance to vote for your favourite Ghost Recon mods, and other forum awards. The ball has already started rolling on these awards, you can get involved here.Merry Christmas to all the fans, forum members and GR.net Supporters who have support GhostRecon.net during the past twelve months. A year with no new Ghost Recon titles for the PC, but another year of remarkable enthusiasm from the fanbase that has made this one of the most outstanding gaming communities anywhere. Merry Christmas to each and every member of Staff here at GhostRecon.net who have put in ridiculous hours to keep this place a pleasant place to visit. And finally Merry Christmas to Ubisoft, GRIN and Red Storm Entertainment. We know our present isn't arriving on Christmas Day, but we can wait, I think we've proved that!
Of course it's not Christmas without a Ghost Recon Christmas mod, so here's the Save Santa mission by NYR, enjoy!

Red Storm GDC Posted by Rocky on Friday, December 16 2005
As some of our regulars will know we have some very talented graphic designers amongst our forum members. So keen were they on producing regular designs and competitions, we gave them no less than 6 Design Forums to play in! One of those forums is called the GDC and is the focal point for a regular Graphic Design Contest. This month they took a close look at our favourite game designers logo - Red Storm Entertainment, with a view to giving the original logo a re-design, and the results are superb!
Take a look at all of the entries for this in house design contest run by GhostRecon.net members, the talent in there is quite amazing!

The Punisher Posted by Rocky on Thursday, December 1 2005
I promised this a few days ago so apologies for the delay, but as you can see Ghost Recon news has been thick and fast recently. The Punisher is a cool new mission by GiWeDa for Ghost Recon - with a twist. The twist being it is played out on one of the great The Sum of all Fears maps. In order to play this mod you must already have The Sum of all Fears installed. The clever installer created by GiWeDa will do all the work required to get The Punisher up and running in the quick mission section of Ghost Recon. Please check the readme file carefully to ensure the installer works correctly the first time! Download here.
