However GiWeDa has completed our 11th mod round up report, and what a cracker it is. Featuring MVD Osnaz, Centcom, Danish Forces, A Cold Day in Hell, Sniper Cannon and the UKSF, there is a massive amount of new content on the horizon for Original Ghost Recon. La Cosa Nostra Massacre Posted by Rocky on Sunday, August 20 2006
Tsactuo has released a cool new single player gametype for Original Ghost Recon. "4 mafia members are scattered randomly in the map (they are always visible on map). Kill all 4 of them, and get the to extraction zone. Enemy reacts very aggressively when you kill one of them (compared to when you kill the other random patrol guys). Also each mafia members is guarded."

Ghost Recon 1 in PC Gamer Posted by Rocky on Thursday, August 17 2006
Back in June, PC Gamer (US) started a "classic game" feature where they wanted gamers to identify which..."... classic game [at least 5 years old] keeps you coming back for more? What is it about that game that makes you toss aside the latest and greatest technological gaming marvel?"
Dick Splash brought it to the attention of Ghost Recon fans in this thread, where several members subsequently posted the contents of their own e-mail to PC Gamer - and indeed one of them was printed (edited down slightly) in PC Gamer this month!

GR.net v RSE Pt II Posted by Rocky on Sunday, August 13 2006
A few days ago a select team of GR:AW 360 players representing GhostRecon.net, took part in a return GR:AW 360 challenge match against the games developers, Red Storm Entertainment. After the first round back in May it was RSE that walked away victorious, leaving the fans licking their wounds. This time around though it was a very different story, with the developers eventually regretting their opening taunt of "ready to lose?". Pabes has posted a match summary over at 2old2kwit, and there are some more details in our forums, pick up the story from this post onwards. Sounds like great games!
