Multiple Mods
Posted by Rocky on Monday, July 30 2007

Satoh has produced an awesome guide for all Ghosts out there trying to manage large numbers of GRAW mods at the same time. The technique uses a pretty cool mod enabler and the guide has plenty of detail and screenshots. If you have countless GRAW mods installed, use the guide to limit what's active at any one time and cut down your game's loading time by as much as half.

M99 Awareness
Posted by Rocky on Friday, July 27 2007

When TeamHot started a discussion on the M99 sniper rifle I don't think anybody thought it would run to over 100 posts of discussion and debate!

M99 Sniper Rifle

Do you think this weapon is overpowered and challenges game balance, or are players simply not using enough tactics to counter its effectiveness? Add the to discussion here.

GRAW 2 Achievements
Posted by Rocky on Wednesday, July 18 2007

Gaining each of the Special Achievements in GRAW 2 is tricky enough, but gaining them all in one mission attempt can take some skill, and time.

Buzz314 has posted the best result we've seen so far for Mission 1, along with some tips, can you do better, or the same on other missions?

Get on GRIN's Wall!
Posted by Rocky on Monday, July 16 2007

Some fans are already on GRIN's wall (dart board heh), and now the rest of us can get in on the act! GRIN would like to make a poster of photos from around the world of people collecting GRAW 2 from the store. It's a great idea and a chance for fans to say thanks to GRIN for all their work in improving GRAW and giving us a worthy addition to series.

Post your camera phone images here!

Vista Gamers and US Gamers
Posted by Rocky on Monday, July 16 2007

If you're planning on playing online with GRAW 2 and Windows Vista, please check this post which details extra steps you will need to take in order to get online.

Anyone in the US chomping at the bit for the arrival of GRAW 2 should remove any GRAW 2 demo's from the computers now, as removing them after you install the full retail game can cause major issues.

GRAW 2 Tweak Guide Updated
Posted by Rocky on Monday, July 16 2007

Tweakguides have updated their GRAW 2 Tweak Guide for the full retail version. I don't know if they go into as much depth with all the games they feature or just the ones they like, but they really give GRAW 2 the treatment, and are obviously familiar with the game way beyond a few hours testing session.

The eight page guide by Koroush includes tips for Vista installations, and a nice selection of gameplay tips that will be essential reading for new GRAW 2 gamers.

There's also confirmation here that GRAW 2 does not require a disk check, something that has already been alluded to in our forums, nice one!

It's a great guide, bookmark it now.

GRIN Gag Order
Posted by Rocky on Friday, July 13 2007

As it has been alluded to by several admins, a gag order by Ubisoft has been put in place against GRIN. We find that detrimental to the success of GRAW2, and we hope you agree.
