Playing Custom OGR Co-op Missions

I sometimes get mail asking if it's possible to play OGR Co-op missions solo, without going online, or how to install OGR Co-op maps. To play any of the great OGR Co-op maps you only need to put two files in to the correct folder, it's very simple and opens up many cool custom maps to play on. I've added an entry to our FAQ explaining exactly how to install OGR Co-op maps, so check it out, then grab some custom maps to enjoy!

The commenting feature in our Downloads Section has not been working correctly for a few weeks. It's all fixed now though and ready to recieve your feedback for any mods you have downloaded and enjoyed. Please take a moment or two to leave some feedback for the modders who have worked so hard to increase your enjoyment of Ghost Recon!

Beta Key Expiry

Ubi Hangtown dropped us a line to let fans know how to reactivate their GRAW 2 PC Beta keys if they expire early due to the extended test period.

* If you will get a message window pop up saying “Your Unlock Code has expired.”
* Click “OK”.
* The Product Activation Dialog Box should now open.
* Click “Activate online.”
* Use the same key already used.

Brettzies M4 Mod for GRAW

Brettzies latest version of his M4 weapon mod for GRAW has been released. I have no hesitation in calling this latest version arguably the most professionally packaged Ghost Recon mod ever released.

Of course, it's not just the packaging that impresses, the quality of the weapon models are already illiciting some great feedback in the forums...

Free Public Beta!

500 gamers now have the chance to play GRAW 2 in a free public beta, restricted to 500 keys.

“GameSpy is expanding the beta for registered users on their site. We happen to have an additional 500 keys that we are able to distribute for the GRAW2 PC beta test. We're able to offer these keys to some of the players who enjoy the series and have made it a success. The first 500 to fill it in will receive their key starting Wednesday April 25.”

GRAW 2 PC Public Beta?

According to a post on the French Ubisoft forums, on Wednesday 18th April, the GRAW 2 PC demo will be released openly for a full public demo! Update : the referenced post made by a Ubisoft Moderator in France has since been refuted by Ubisoft.

Since yesterday (Friday the 13th), technical issues have prevented some users from accessing GhostRecon.net, while some can still access it as normal. The cause is being investigated.

Ubisoft has released three new images from the upcoming PC release of GRAW2. Check them out, and discuss them in this thread.

It looks like the images are from the pending closed multiplayer beta release, expected to begin tomorrow.

Ubisoft's current viral campaign, now suspected to be the build up to the announcement of a new Tom Clancy series by Ubisoft, took an interesting turn with the uncovering of the official viral website - rev64.com. There seems to be a viral campaign for an as yet undiscovered project underway at Ubisoft. The first clue was a malformed graphic that appeared on Ubisoft game portals, including the Ghost Recon series. Fans then noticed some text, and now Dannik has discovered a mysterious face!
