We did one a couple of years ago for Black Sun.

Famas G2+M203 is my upcoming "Famas Armoury" and "Full Intention" mods.

All Famas F1, F2 and G2 variants will be in Famas Armoury including the Famas submachine gun (if I could find any decent big pics, I can only find small pics of the Famas smg, too small to model from), Famas Sniper (F1, G2) , Famas Commando (F1, F2, G2) etc etc

And, yes, the Famas F2 DOES exist. It's basically the Famas G2 but with the 25 round Famas mag (Famas G2's have the 30 round M16 style mags, Famas F1's have the 25 round clip). Everything else on the F2 is exactly the same as the G2 (except for the clip like I just said)

I got pics of the Famas with an attached rifle grenade too....

what the hell is the point of the f2 then?

Armee Francais has one. It in the dl database.

In the game "Chaser", they had a Famas F2, but they screwed it up....in game it had 30 rounds, but the clip on the weapon model was actually the straight 25 round clip (the F2 should have 25 round clip - so it looks like they gave it too many rounds....). Also, in "Chaser", that Famas fires 4.7x28mm ammo which is wrong. The Famas actually uses 5.56mm ammo.

Famas RPG-7?

It's probably an interim development step towards the G2, lets you sort out the other improvements before adding in the extra complication of feeding from the STANAG mag. There's a lot of this kind of thing out there, often with the same basic ID (for instance there are two major varieties of F-16C within the USAF, and there were 4 kinds of Tornado GR1 in RAF service).

The Famas F2 is still used alot actually.

AFAIK, there is no G1 variant....there's only F1 (25 rounds STANAG mag, trigger guard), G2 (hand guard, 30 round M16 clip) and F2 (the same G2 except the F2 has the 25 round STANAG mag). Also, some F1's, F2's and G2's have bipods, some don't. Also, the amount of finger groves on the bottom of the front bit of the Famas vary between the F1's, F2's and G2's (AFAIK, F1 has 5 finger grooves, G2 has 4 finger grooves, I dunno about the F2)

That's the main differences. There is alao a different rate of fire for the F1 and G2....AFAIK, F1 is about 1000 rounds/min and G2 is about 1100 rounds/min.

Famas is an awesome assault rifle....especially if you stick an M203 and a rifle grenade on it....hehehehe

Also, the Famas submachine gun fires 5.56mm ammo by the looks of it....

I wonder if there's a Famas Masterkey variant. That would be cool.
