Wolfsong has got to be the man for this one. Most of which would be a simple repackaging of the AK's from his Swedish Forces mod.
Send him begging letters and beer, you never know :D

I would agree that Wolfsong's Swedish Forces is the MOD you want, although it is a huge download. PM or e-mail him to see if he would make an AK-5 mod out of Swedish Forces if you cannot do a large download.

I like the idea, i'd be nice to have a little more variety in GR...(not that there isn't a lot already but still).

how many of those are already in Swedish forces, and which ones would have to be made from scratch?

I had a very similar forum out before about the Ak5B with a silencer.

I already have the expertly made and almost perfect Swedish Force-Mod (1.4.3) made by Wolfsong  , but what I want is a bit more diversity.

But after all the begging and asking I feel that if he isn´t interested right now in making more Ak5´s.

I miss some details, the guns that he calls the Ak5C (and D) is just the ordinary gun, but with a removed iron-sight and a redpoint, but he have missed out completly on such things like the new and improved muzzlebrake (inspired by the H&K G36) and such things. :wall:
Then we got the versions with KAC-railing and so on that is going to be fielded very soon... :o=

What I more or less is asking for is a person genuinly interested in perfecting this and making a whole new family of guns of highest quality´(much in the way that Wolfsongs did it (all his Ak5´s are built on the same "model", with attached and imported components to this basic model) :D

Note:
I would never dare to write this if I didn´t know that he was far of in the woods, without the net, ´cause otherwise, he would probably show up in my bathroom tomorrow and drive a sharpened tothbrush through my thick skull. ;)

The young man stood by the mirror in the bathroom. Slowly he towelled himself dry after his shower. Suddenly the temperature in the room dropped as if someone had opened the door. Hampered by the steam the young man could not see clearly as he searched for the cause of the icy draught. For a split second he felt a sharp, penetrating, pain to the back of his head, then darkness fell.

Outside a wolf howled.

Well...looks like my retirement from weapons modding didn't last long! I just jumped on the AK5 train! lol Got to have a shot at modding my old service weapons!
If Tollen can get texture quality pics then I'll con up the models to go along with them! Trying to go lower in polys than with my Shrikes, shouldn't be all to hard to do as these babies doesn't have belts feeding them!

That experimental version is sweet. Looking forward to seing some other swedish mod. I know I'm not going to make any more models for GR at least.

Try the Black Sun mod by DRAG. It's old (by GR standards) but there's at least one, maybe two (I can't remember exactly) AK5 variants in there.

Ues, I know. But even better: this topic have resulted in a cooperation between SnowFella and me on a swedish MOD called "SWEBAT 2005".

Take a look in the gun-forum and enjoy or baby´s!
