APACHE footage with GR

Hi everyone, first of all, I'm a newbie here so sorry if I'm doing something wrong. I didn't know where to post this.

This is something I've done today in very little time, there's still a lot of room for improvement, but I wanted to show you how with very little modding and an "Old" game like GR cool things can still be done.

I'm using the great Centcom mod. I have modified the parameters of the m240, adding 40mm projectiles and have added some lines of script with IGOR (for the helo insertion)

The sound is taken from a real video and I've added some effects with Sony Vegas.

As I said, it can be improved a lot more, I might make a better video when I get some freetime.

Hope you like it.

Glad you like it guys.

That's nice Riley! I came up with an idea to have the helos actually firing to the enemy when your platoon is on the ground, and of course they would be able to fire rockets and my particular 30mm cannon.

I remember there's a mod out there with air support but it does not harm the enemy at all. I'm also trying to make the helos come when you call them, just gotta figure out which could be the "trigger" to do so.

Okay Mr. Perfectionist wink.gif I think you're the only person who wasn't focused on the dying people and exploding cars.

That was fun. I think I'm going to make some more vehicle videos later. Maybe Hinds attack helicopter fighting with an Apache? Ch47s unloading troops and sending them into the field? Or a fleet of Cobras mowing down an infantry unit? What'd be most interesting?
