I REALLY want to play this game. Unfortunately, I'll need a brand new PC. I know that they have recommended, but I would like to hear your recommendations. What should I look for in a PC?

Changed the topic title for you.

Nothing is set in stone right now for Arma3, but going by my own experience from Arma1 & 2, plus my previous upgrades, I would suggest some basics:

Quad core CPU @ minimum 3.0GHz
3 x 4GB or 4 x 4GB RAM
Motherboard to support either the above
SSD Drive for the OS plus games that benefit from it
500GB or 1TB second drive for all else
GTX 460 2 GB RAM or equivalent as a absolute minimum for graphics
PSU keep 850W as a minimum

Is all good and dandy to be able to play a game, but games like Arma really do benefit from having a good PC. Others may have some ideas here also. If not we can link it down to the PC discussions forums for a while.

:)

Not really been up to date with Arma 3 forums lately, but will be looking forward to trying it soon as well, hopefully.

Thanks for the reply (and Title change). smile.gif

I'm not really looking to run it at the highest setting. Graphics card wise, I've been looking at the GeForce 560 tu. It can apparently run BF4)3 and Skyrim on high. So ai've got hooes for ARMA.
