No idea why this is crashing.....does it after quickloading, locks up for a moment and then crashes. Any ideas?

i would have said all of those uninitialized sounds would play a part. have you tried reconciling the sound files?

i'm no expert on this and someone more knowledgeable will probably say different but i would have said that would be the cause of at least one error.

Sorry Riley but I had to edit your post and remove hundreds of lines saying SOUND: Uninitialized:

It was effecting the forums and making the thread slow to load.

Lets just say there were hundreds of those lines, I think members will still be able to understand the crash log.

I think you have just earned the title of the "Longest Post in History"

Lots of SOUND: Uninitialized: usually is a wrongly named vehicle but does not cause the crash.

snatch.vcl in the 9ms12 mod makes this entry millions of times because it is not named jeep_snatch.vcl. Putting jeep or truck in the file name tells the engine if the vehicle has 4 or more wheels. So when you use the snatch.vcl, these entries are the engine continually telling the IKE is does not know where to send the sounds too, while it is moving.

Best way to fault find the crash with no help in the ike.log is to copy the file. Remove just the script, does it crash. Remove the vehicles, does it crash, remove the actors, does it crash.

Good luck.

Alex, I'll check that.
John, I was really insulted that you removed that. You really took away a lot when you removed those lines. Just because they look the same doesn't mean they are, and every one of those lines was unique and had a different personality. I think that you are giving yourself a very bad image by saying that those lines were the same. Posted Image

Tinker, I'm using your ammo box from Rockall, perhaps that's the cause.

Don't think I really want to spend the rest of my life removing stuff and debugging, I'm too impatient to do things like that. I'll just restart it again I guess.

I'm still getting the SOUND: Uninitialized and Timer Sound Playing on Restart, but it isn't crashing. I guess nobody would notice because most players don't check their IKE.log after playing and would probably be on to the next mission anyway. This won't mess up anything or create problems, will it?

As far as I know SOUND: Uninitialized won't cause any issues.
Not familiar with the Timer Sound Playing on Restart line.
