U sure these even the right ones? I need a new headset and i can't be asked buying another one since I got a set for Xmas and it makes my ears hurt like hell.

Not to put a damper on, but those are the worst built headset I have had so far, still have them here on the shelf. Both cups broke off the frame within 3 months. Each are held on with only 1 tiny metal screw into a plastic part. Fell off the table from 1M height onto thick carpet.Sennheiser set I have here, I can play kick ups with them, no problem, solid. I now have have turtle beach and again, a solid build.
Shame, as the quality was awesome. So be warned, do not drop them.

Oh, I meant to put that in the news post, will do it now, thanks.

That's surprising as this set is not cheap!
I used to be a Bose fanatic, until they switched to cheaper components. My last Bose, the cheaply made Triport gave up. I was able to convince them to replace it, so that's a plus on Customer Service. Unfortunately, this Triport and other Bose over-ear/in-ear doesn't hold up to other products.
I'm not saying I'm an audiophile, but there are better headphones.
As for a free Bose headphone, this is a better offer
