The M240's receiver's cover sometimes is left standing, like this...

This happens when Brown reloads his MG while moving to another position. I'm using my own mod, and who is to blame for this problem? The game engine, or my mod?

From my experience, it happens from time to time. However, it isn't a big issue since he is still able to shoot it despite having the cover up. So I'd say it is a in game bug, though it is not a serious one.

Well, that's still a problem if Mitchell is the soldier who has an M240 in his hands.
Seems that the action of "put the cover back down" is triggered after "exit the reloading state" in the state machine?

Although this is an old topic I like to say something. I think I know what the problem is when the cover of the receiver is still up after reload. When you try to mod the reload to a faster reload, you'll also have to mod the animation of the reload. If the timings of the animation aren't modified, the reload may be a bit faster, but the animation will still remain the same.

Cheers,

Rico:rolleyes:

No. I didn't change any time values, and there isn't a "anim" folder under my GRAW2\Local\English at all.
