I don't own any consoles yet, though the idea of buying the 360 keeps crossing my mind.

So there's another question. I like GR a lot, GRAW's were ok to me, but only as a 'GR mod' that is fun to play for a while. I am interested in shooters. I've played a lot of BF 2 in the last year, but that's about it for run & gun type games. Is their even anything on the 360 worth getting it for in the way of tactical shooters? GR 2 was fun for a while, but again, it was more of a fun mod than another game.

Thanks for any feedback.

Admin Edit: Please stick to one subject per thread, dont ask two completely separate subjects in one thread (start new thread for your other question) and I'll move this "part" to the console forum as it already has a reply]

It's not tactical per se (although you won't hit ###### if you run & shoot), but Borderlands is highly recommended. User ratings for this game (on Xbox Marketplace) are four and three quarter stars out of five.

I saw that game in the stores, it looked like an interesting concept. What do you think of it?

I think it's great. The hand drawn carton style textures (everything has a black outline around it) are awesome. And so many (over 17 million according to Gearbox) variations of guns randomly generated by the games' random content generation engine - you could pick up the same weapon twice, the second one will have a different barrel, different mag and different stats. The game engine has loads of stocks/mags/barrels etc to choose from, so it randomly chooses the parts and randomly puts them together to make some insane looking guns.
