Hi, first post here, but I've been reading these forums for years. Thanks for all the help.

So I'm working on this Punisher mod, and I can't call it done until I can give Frank his dual 45s.

Right off the bat, I don't have 3Dsmax, so I have to kinda work around stuff. Please bear with me on that.

I got everything to work mechanics-wise for the guns, but now I really want to have both guns visible during play.

I've done a ton of experimenting, and at the end of it all I found that I could call the other gun an item (the primary handles firing the two rounds) and place it on the model using a holster point.

I can copy and paste the code from the .qob files so that the item is displayed on the holster points from multiple weapons (back, stomach, theigh ). So I tried pasting the code for a left hand item point into the holster point code for my offhand item. No go.

So I know how to get the second gun displayed in-game, but I can't put it where I want it.

I'm wondering if I'm totally going about this wrong.

If I'm not, could somebody out there help me by say making a left hand holster point and giving me the code string for it, take a screenshot of the file, or just upload the weapon? I just want the holster point for the other .45 to be in his left hand.

Thanks

You cannot do this unfortunately.

All you could do is, have the 2 pistols grouped up as 1, running off the same helper point. But every time the character moves around and so, it will be out of place. Will only look fine while firing.

Well I guess I'll just have to cope with those limitations. I grouped em up on the same point like you suggested, and at least that hides the model for the other .45 so it's not just glued to his leg. Thanks :)
