Hey all. Modding newbie here. Wondering if any of guys can help me out with creating a kit. I'm trying to expand on an existing kit that I like to use when I host a multiplayer game by having different secondary weapons available. For instance, I'm trying to take the rifleman M4 SOPMOD (some mod) which is currently available with only grenades, extra ammo, and sensors. I'd like to have the M4 SOPMOD available wtih demo charges, rockets, and maybe a pistol too. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

In the kit folders you can create a new kit file.

Here is an original example:

<KitFile>
<VersionNumber>1.000000</VersionNumber>
<KitTexture>kit_rifleman-01.rsb</KitTexture>
<Firearm SlotNumber = "0">
<VersionNumber>1.000000</VersionNumber>
<ItemFileName>m16gl.gun</ItemFileName>
<MagazineCount>10</MagazineCount>
<GrenadeLauncher>1</GrenadeLauncher>
</Firearm>
<Firearm SlotNumber = "1">
<VersionNumber>1.000000</VersionNumber>
<ItemFileName>m203.gun</ItemFileName>
<MagazineCount>5</MagazineCount>
</Firearm>

</KitFile>

The bold stuff is the secondary kit. Change the .gun file and save as a new file.

You then need a new no_restrictions file for the kit folder, add your new kit file to each list if needed.

Thanks for the help Tinker! That did the trick. I was doing everything except updating the no_restrictions file.
Thanks again mate!
