Yeah i think ill buy L4D too, it got some great previews. You mean Dead Space, its really amazing, if you have a 5.1 sound or better it rocks.

Had fun on the Xbox version yesterday. But the guys playing with us online were deliberately setting off the car alarms in the city block before the subway entrance (if you didn't know, when you do that it's like being vommited on by those fat zombies - you get a massive swarm of zombies coming at you from a 360 degree angle)

My bro was one side of the block, I was stood outside the subway entrance watching down the street, the two guys running off (re: trying to be heroes) and deliberately setting off car alarms were somewhere inbetween. My bro runs back towards the subway, with a whole swarm of zombies just behind him. They're coming at me too, fast, from the blocked street leading past the subway entrance. My bro makes it back to the subway and inside, where they start coming through the way at him. he's screaming at me to get out of there and fall back to support his position. The two guys trying to be heroes were still poncing about in the street. With that, they leg it around the corner towards the subway while I'm going full auto on the uzi providing covering fire for people that almost got me killed. I was aiming in the general direction of the zombies firing in an arc. Got off about full mag then I legged it down to the subway entrance. I get into the 'safe room' with my bro and one of 'heroes' covering the doorway while zombies where running towards the room. Then the other 'hero' decides to run back with a shotgun into a swarm of like 20 zombies when we were just about to close the door. So again, I'm having to move up to support these idiots who keep wandering off. I stood in the doorway taking down zombies with the uzi, he runs out of ammo and runs back into the safe room to get more ammo. I swiftly slam the doore behind him and stood in the way of it so he couldn't run back out.

Then they did the same thing in the subway itself. Why online (human) players can't stick together and help each other out instead of trying to be heroes I don't know. Even the AI team mates played better than those guys and DID NOT almost get us killed on like 20 occassions. Jeez.

I like how the weapons/ammo appears in different places each time you play. If you do really well, i.e., don't loose much health and get through the city block very quickly without having any swarms come after you, then when you go down to the train tracks in the subway there will be a huge zombie thing down there that is very strong and can hit you very far (aswell as taking alot of hitpoints from you with each hit). It took two of us about 4 full mags of the M16 each to take him down.

Demo on Steam? I want!!

Remember, grenades are more useful against a whole swarm of them.... They emit a beeping sound and the zombies can't understand what it it is, so they RUN TOWARDS grenades. You can heal team mates, AI team mates can heal you; you can all carry one health kit each, and they don't restore full health, only part of it. And do not shoot cars in the street - unless you think you're hard enough to face the consequences If you see the big fat zomibes, keep your distance - they explode when they die and that vomit stuff goes everywhere, so you can get sprayed with vomit if you are too close.... Then another swarm of zombies will come for you. They stop at nothing, I've seen them jump off rooves, climb over fences etc to get to you. Oh and then there's the guys that can project their tendrils over a distance, instantly pulling you in draining you health all the while. Then there's the guys that can leap from place to place (including leaping on you and pinning you down, all the while draining your health) frighteningly fast. Oh and by the way, most of the time those vomiters stay concealed, you often won't see them till it's too late. And beware of the 'witch.'

Review of Resident Evil too pls. Still have RE3, but is a bit out dated now, RE4 on the Gamecube was not so much fun.

Best part is Sheva, or should I say specifically some of her alternative costumes you can unlock.

It also has an unlockable longbow in it for the fun factor (no laser aiming sight on it though, and only Sheva can use it.) If you're a run & gunner, you won't like RE5 because you can't move & shoot.

The interactive cutscenes are cool... Interactive as in you must press certain buttons in a specific timeframe (aka 'button bashing', or in some places, 'rampant button bashing at hyperspeed') in order to avoid certain danger during some cutscenes.

Complete the whole game in less than 3 hours total, and you will bag yourself unlimited ammo for the RPG-7.

I like the fact they made one character left handed too, and when you play that character you are left handed and the map etc is put over to the left side of the screen, whereas with the other character the map is on the right.

Look out for jewels etc you can sell for money - money to buy upgrades for your shooters with. There's a lot of jewels (over 50,000 credits worth) on Chapter 4 alone, in the caves and surrounding areas. Just look for shing jewels areound on walls/ceilings etc, you can shoot them down then pick them up. Then again, it takes like 100,000 worth of credits to upgrade each weapon....

A number of other previous RE characters make a re-occurence too (for a start, Chris Redfield is the main playable character), plus a certain previous female partner/playable character is back with a twist.
