Entertainment Weekly Lists 50 Game Classics Can't say I agree with all of them...

*new* classics, Krise. r6 and Xcom are on just about everyone's 'classics' lists. GR, as much as i love it, was more of an iteration of existing concepts than a revolutionary title, so i'm not sure if it qualifies as a classic...
Then again, they have Oblivion and Perfect dark on there, so GR probably deserves a slot. Not the best list overall, but they hit on some pretty important games.
Wipeout, SH2... Both good picks.
Psychonauts? Not a classic at all, the game hardly sold, although *incredible* and deserving of the attention.
I actually think it's good to see Call of Duty 4 up there, too. Say what you will about linear, repetitive gameplay, the game did some incredible and groundbreaking things with immersive storytelling.
Overall though yeah, rubbish list.

Stop the divisions people...band together and say what you want from GAMES, not platforms.
