how do I make a new gun model?
do I use Igor?

Hello,

for making new models you need to have 3dsmax. There are lots of tutorials here in the forum how to make gun models. Good luck!

You will need 3Dmax 5 and you will need the plug-in from the Island thunder disc so you are abel to export your model to IGOR. A good place to start is in the "Recon" section on your tool bar above there are lots of tutorials in there i think afew of the links maybe dead but if there is something in there you want just post in the modding section, as someone is bound to have it

Well its quite hard to find these days i found my copy on Amozon, but that was a while ago also try ebay. It mite be worth putting a post in the modding section to ask if anybody has a copy that they no longer use
