This time, two years ago Ubisoft were getting set to publish
25 Games. (10 of those were PC games)
Right now, Ubisoft are about to publish
13 Games. (2 of those are PC games)

It is right mate, I have the weekly release schedules going back 2 years, probably further if I dig out my mail archives. Makes for interesting reading, could probably come up with some cool charts if I was motivated enough, but for starters I thought that was an interesting stat.

Would be interesting to see how many titles other major publishers are releasing now compared to then. Given the escalating development costs, I wouldn't be surprised if publishers are cutting away the fat.

or having most studios leave for other ways/companies to market due to increased pressure for fast releases.
